Ha, HA. Waiting for news on T.v saying Karr is back in the land of the Yanky, Doodle Dandy. Must say that he looked pretty 'normal' when I saw him leave thailand.Personally, I think he is a really mixed up guy ( erh. this sounds like a dumb understatement). Thanks for the laugh.

Maybe the guy in the red shirt that walked by him at the press conference and slid his hand up Karr's arm after first touching his hand to his mouth, is a supporter or his. That was about the most disgusting thing I have seen in a long time, and they keep replaying it to where I have to turn my head!

Or (again..just throwing out random thoughts) could Karr be crazy like a fox, knowing full well that nothing can be pinned on him but misdemeanor child ...and engineered this whole thing as a way to get money, knowing that with such a sensational case there was bound to be wild speculation and possibly setting himself up to be demonized in the media, with a plan to gain a LOT of money in lawsuits down the road a bit?

Motive for Sex-Reassignment

I had mentioned much earlier, when we were all watching JMKarr being interviewed, that he appeared to change his facial expressions very quickly; like watching emotional collisions. Man, was that an understatement.

I get the sense that he has some conflict, with his obsessions, and his religious training/guidance. I also speculate, that he has a tremendous amount of guilt, because of this. And I am wondering, if this potential inquiry into re-assignment, might be his attempt to effect some sort of "punishment" or retrobution for what he has done. He appears to be in the mode of "confessing one's sins". And all...

Could he be trying to end this obsession, once and for all - by altering (i.e. cutting out) the source of his "desire"? After all, only little girls are "Angels and Innocent", as he named his first two twin girls (who died shorthly after birth). Very curious indeed.

I further speculate, that this religious guilt, is reinforced by his persistant claim to be affiliated with the Catholic faith. Case in point: It has been reported, that he has identified his religious affiliation, as Catholic. This religious affiliation seems to emerge, again, with his most recent job at a Thai school, and past references to Catholic/Christian schools.

Initially, I noticed the drastic change in his appearance, since the photo on his resume. I wondered if, as he began to age, it became another obsession to re-gain that young/boyish look he used to have. Remembering that this is the guy who was obsessed with young girls, and considered them to be "his peer group". However, as information continued to leak out, it would appear that he is not merely trying to make himself look more like a young boy, (by simply and attempting to reduce his body hair) and allowing his body to become very slight and as frail as an 8 year old boy.

This to me, smacks of a person who is in this freakish mode of self-mutilation, for past sins. He even has a self appointed "confessor", the journalism professor, and perhaps to a degree, Patsy R.

Yes, I am starting to feel the same way. This guy could be suffering from a serious mental illness. It is too early
to tell if they have the'wrong' man as yet but it is looking dodgy. LE obviously 'MUST' have more on Karr than emails to a nutty prof, and his ludicrous "confession'. I really hope so because this is fast turning into a stupid, cruel joke.
Where are all his 'so' called alibis ?
Whatever happens at least he will do time for child . then he will get out, write a book about his ordeal (which I will buy- because I am curious!) and the run off somewhere to have his 'sex' change procedure.
He will be able to afford the best shrink in town.
But on the other hand, he may just go down for one of America's most notorious and cruel child murders.

I don't claim to be able to analyze him, and most fugitives don't go so far as to try to change their gender, so that's evidently not it.

He may be resenting his grandfather trying to change his religion from Catholic to, I think, Baptist, for one thing of many. And feeling rejected by his parents because he and his brothers were sent to the grandparents?

...more on the potential motive for sex re-assignment:

There is something interesting about his references to religious study (as a child or adult). I vaguely recall some bible school teaching, about how, if one called upon angels, you could re-discover your innocence. It may be a weird stretch, but I think that JMKarr has done just this, in the past. And he is attempting to effect this change (albeit physical), in the present.

Mrs. Norris: You make a good point, about JMKarr possibly being "more sad than bad". I continue to wonder, if - due to Karr's interpretation of the religious dogma with which he was brought up - he considers a person to have the same level of guilt for a sin (i.e. crime) if they "think/obsess about it", vs. actually comitting the crime. If so, then it would stand to reason why he would confess that he is guilty of "parts of this crime". He his mind, he does not differentiate between obsession (as in, I think I am capable of doing this) vs. the actual commission of this crime.

...and within this pronouncement of guilt, he is "removing" the part of him that he believes is the source of this transgression against his god.

Very interesting case. His pathology runs so deep, if JMKarr has some culpability in the crime involving JBR, I'm not hopeful that it can even be sorted out.

If my "re-assignment" motive seems a bit weird, try this one:
After reading some of the current articles about how manipulative and controlling Karr was, I am still wondering, if perhaps JMKarr "conned" this Thai physician, into thinking he was there for re-assignment.

The motive? To get this physician to treat him compassionately, and perhaps even give him a break on the price of some of the ancillary services (laser hair removal). If this speculation turns out to be more accurate than the "re-assignment" scenario, it would line up with his desire to appear to re-capture that young/boyish look that would enable him to mix and mingle with the young school girl he considered to be his peer.

I watched carefully when I saw him on the same old video. I really didn't notice large boobies, but I did see a nipple. So maybe it wasn't a bra. The BarnGod has well developed pecs. I know some men don't.

One thing kept going through my mind and I finally put my finger on it. This whole episode of his being hauled around between two handlers reminded me of Lee Harvey Oswald being led through the garage just before Jack Ruby shot him. He had that very same look. It was eerie the way he mugged for the camera.

As to the sex change, If he identifies with being a woman, then abusing and killing a little girl just don't make sense to me.

The latest revelations come as another doctor in Bangkok fielded similar questions from news media amid reports he was also working with Karr on a sex- change operation.

Dr. Thep Vechavisit, who performs sex-change surgery for $1,625, told The Post he doesn't remember Karr and wouldn't say whether he was a patient.

Vechavisit, whose storefront Pratunam Polyclinic sits in the middle of the Thai capital's garment district, said he had read the news reports that Karr was one of his patients and was seeking a sex change, but Vechavisit denied he told reporters that.

The Associated Press on Sunday reported that Vechavisit said Karr had a consultation at the clinic. An unnamed clinic staffer reportedly told the news service that Karr had talked with the doctor about sex-change surgery.

"Even if I found his record, I cannot tell you," Vechavisit said of Karr, citing doctor-patient confidentiality. "You will have to ask Mr. Karr."

He doesn't love her as you or I would use the word. He's obsessed with an image he has in his head. Finding out the difference between that image and reality might fuel many reactions. And if she was on her stomach she was not "facing" him.

Not that I can think about that happening to her or any child, without starting to feel sick.
