Wow, I saw that juror's interview last night too. So now she's face down in the tub. ??!!

One thing I thought about was what if Drew had filled up the tub with water, assuming the tub would stay filled until she was found.

Maybe she was floating face down in that water and that's why the blood settled where it did.

Now if we could get the story straight about exactly what position she was found in, it would sure help. If the water drained as she was floating face down, then she would end up face down, I'd suspect.

I'm just throwing things out there. It seems nobody's story matches up to anything on the autopsy report.

This may have already been asked - so sorry if this is a repeat - but did LE test her tub during the investigation by filling it up with water to see if it did indeed drain out (and how slowly, etc.)?

Or was there just not much of an investigation at all?

"Stacy – I'm not trying to be funny here – but Stacy asked me for a divorce after her sister died; on a regular basis," Peterson said. "I'm not trying to be funny, but it was based on her menstrual cycle."

Just watched the first 15 minutes of Greta's show from lastnight and I learned something new (you guys probably already know this).

Dr. Michael Bader (a forensic pathologist) explained that he worked on a case that the body was exhumed 30 years later and the body looked like it'd just been buried yesterday. So, even though if KS has been dead for several years, her body could still have soft tissue and bones still intact. It would also still show any fractures, etc. He said this also greatly depended on how much water had gotten into the casket and how good the embalming process went. I was thinking the body deteriates (sp?) quickly but I guess not.

So... I wonder if she had DNA under her nails (from an altercation or from trying to defend herself) -- would that still show up under her nails after all this time? If so, how could DP explain that one??

I would think there would be film on the tub. Like bath scum.

Exactly! Glad to know i'm not the only one that thinks so.

I was thinking the same thing, TM. It seems the story changes everytime a new interview is granted. How can there be so many conflicting facts regarding how she was when she was found?
It seems the more we try to unravel the questions and mysteries, the more that come to the surface.

Did I hear Dr. Baden correctly??? He's spoken with the two doctors that have done the second autopsy and he says that although water DID seep into the coffin, they were able to obtain more information, and then he said something about, "they're looking at a potential homicide case." The way he said it, it sounds like they did find evidence of a homicide.

It was also revealed on Greta that the Savio family has asked Dr. Baden to do another autopsy, as they want answers to their questions.

YES I heard it also! something like they were able to determine from some tissue, and bone that lead them in the direction of homicide, or beaten. This is terrific news.

I haven't seen anything about him at all yet.

Thanks, he seems fed up. I'm worried he won't be back. I can't blame him. He can't do anything constructive if his hands are tied.

Drew P was the duty sergeant working the night that her body was discovered.
http://www.abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=3868974&page=1

Let's start a thread called "According to Drew" and keep track of his inconsistent statements. LOL

He was the duty sergeant at the time KP's body was discovered. So what does this experienced LEO do?? He doesn't call his superiors to send a car to KP's house. He has the neighbor break in.

But now, supposedly thinking like a cop again, he sends the neighbor in first because:

1st explanation) he doesn't want to contaminate the scene. Umm, how did he know there was a 'scene' inside? And even though he would obviously be a suspect if there was a scene inside, he would know how to preserve it better than the neighbor. So his actions are inconsistent with his story.

2nd explanation) because KP was always blaming him for breaking into her house. If he was concerned about that on this particular night, then he apparently thought KP was alive and well and would be mad at him for breaking into her house. So... why did he do it? If he thought she was alive, what gave him the right to have someone enter her home. She could've been taking a nap or had a male friend over and didn't want to be bothered. He acted like she wouldn't have had the right to NOT answer the door for him.

More inconsistencies...

I thought at first he said he was going to take the kids home (while on duty?), then he said he hadn't been able to contact her, and he, but moreso, the neighbor were worried about her.

There are police procedures for checking on a person's welfare. I'm sure there had to have been laws violated in him and the neighbor entering her home without permission from BBPD superiors.

If any of us had a locksmith break into our exes homes, we'd be in jail.
