I wonder if her family is paying his fee - or if Greta is paying it (given that she had someone filming the autopsy).

According to Greta's show a couple of nights ago, Dr Baden offered

Curiosity, Steve seems to be just like Drew to me. I wonder how many DV calls were made to Steve's house?

Pardon if I'm saying something that's already been said, but I didn't like Steve the moment he started describing the scene where Stacy was videotaping DP taking down KS. Steve stood there and watched DP kneel on KS while she was screaming for help.

Steve even told his wife, who apparently wanted to help, not to help her but to wait for the police. He says he was friends with KS as well? I don't think so. I was sickened that another "man" could stand by and watch DP assault KS like that. KS didn't have a gun or anything. What could she possible do to DP?! :behindbar

I don't like Steve at all, and wouldn't trust a thing he said.

Plus the fact that he doesn't realize how stupid he sounds when he tells us that DP is calm everytime he talks to him. BWAHAHAHAA, what a dope. First of all, we all know "calm" probably has never described DP, and if he is calm then that says a lot about DP in the midst of all these troubles. :furious:

I get bad vibes from Steve. I don't like him. My instincts tell me that he is not being truthful. I remember hearing him say on another day while be interviewed by Greta that while observing the fight between Kathy and Stacey and Drew in her front yard that his(Steve's) wife wanted to go in the house and get Kathy's "friend". He wouldn't let her do that. Kathy was yelling for someone to get this "friend" and he told his wife that the police had been called and not to go in the house after the friend. At that time it was a "friend", now it's a boyfriend. For those of us who make it a habit to notice "controlling behavior....take note at the fact that Steve's wife has not appeared in an interview. Is Steve a control freak also?

curiosity, I JUST SAW THIS!! I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks DP and SC are very much the same....

Is this Steve also one of the witnesses who signed the will left by DP's 3rd wife? I just find everything so suspicious and wouldn't trust anyone close to DP at this time.

Wow is all I can say. I think they'll have enough
circumstantial evidence to charge DP with her

I'm just now catching up with the forum as I was gone all day and offline this evening. But, I did watch the repeat of Greta, and am waiting for the midnight repeat of NG.

Dr. Baden said that he had taken samples of KS's hair and it will be tested. Perhaps a poison can be detected in the hair sample.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's suspicious of Steve Carcerano. I've had bad vibes about him since his first interview.

I highly doubt poison is the case here but it is always good to double check. The killed her and possibly Stacy was involved in her murder. It obviouly did not bother Stacy to watch him beat the hell out of her so she may have something to do with it. When Stacy matured and realized this man was WRONG and wanted out he had to kill her too... I'm so over this already. I want that a~hole in jail I am sick of watching him walk around ride around on his bike and act like his shiz don't stink and he is getting away with all of this.

It obviouly did not bother Stacy to watch him beat the hell out of her so she may have something to do with it. Maybe Stacy threatened to tell about DP's (or both of their) involvement in Kathleen's death. But I don't think Stacy would have done that, having small kids. I think DP acted alone but maybe Stacy knew about it and threatened to go public, and then DP made her his next victim to shut her up.

I would think that Stacy loving those kids as much as she did, would have contacted her sister Cassandra, and probably not telling her that she had been involved with KS's death, but would have said something to her that she was going to confront DP about something, and if she went missing, to take care of the kids and that DP would have had something to do with it. (her being missing that is).

DP may be guilty, but this is a long way from proving he was the one who murdered Savio.

I don't think Stacy would have left with another man without letting her family know she was doing that. She had plans to be with them that day painting an apt, she knew that her leaving would send off alarm bells. She definitely would have told her sister she was leaving with someone else.
I don't think she knows much about Kathleen other than she was the wife of Drew when they started dating, and lived up the street. Everything else she would know about Kathleen she would have heard from Drew. She doesn't strike me as the type of person to help murder someone. There is a big difffernce between flipping someone off and killing them. As far as her video taping the fight between Kathleen and Drew on Kathleen's front yard, Drew probably told her to for evidence against Kathleen in the upcoming divorce or custody case.
I think Drew murdered her because Dr Baden said Kathleen was dead about 30 hours before she was found. Drew said he hadn't seen or spoken to her in 2 days back at the time of her death. That would cover him for the time in question, in his mind anyway.
I think Drrew had an arguement with Kathleen about the boys inheriting the money, that possibly he had just found out about that change in her policy, and that infuriated him. So the best way to get some of that money was to get rid of her, get the boys, have Stacy adopt them and then he would atleast get a portion through the kids.

Former New York City chief medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden examined Kathleen Savio's remains on Friday and determined that she died after a struggle and her body was then placed in the bathtub where she was later found, Savio's family told WFLD-TV.

"She was beat up and placed in the bathtub as a cover-up for whoever done this," Sue Savio Doman, Savio's sister, told the Fox affiliate.

A coroner's jury initially ruled that Savio's 2004 death was an accidental drowning. But now, with Drew Peterson's fourth wife missing for more than two weeks, authorities are re-examining the circumstances of Savio's death.

"There was marks on her hips, her arms, her elbows, on her legs, her feet. ... There was a struggle. She did fight," Savio Doman said.

Kathleen has been fighting all these years to be heard and get DP locked up. Finally someone heard her voice. I'm just sorry that Stacey probably had to die first.

ITA. I don't think Stacy would have left her kids, and I don't think she helped kill Kathleen. What I find interesting interesting though, is the report that information discovered during the search for Stacy is what prompted the exhumation of Kathleen's body. What did they find? I wonder if Stacy stumbled onto something and then shared it with a friend or her sister in an e-mail or text message? Just speculating, but maybe she got suspicious and confronted Drew about it and he admitted it or threatened to do the same thing to her. She could have told someone about that in an e-mail. If Drew is guilty of murdering Kathleen, I doubt he would have left any physical evidence around his house to be found.

I just had a thought, wouldn't it be something if in fact Stacy really has just gone away, knowing they would start looking at DP for her disappearance and then also into the death of Kathleen? What if he'd been threatning her that if she tried to leave she would be killed and it made to look like an accident. She may have had suspicions that Kathleens death was no accident and the same thing could happen to her. By her disappearing it forced the police to look into things, if he could be arrested for Kathleens death then Stacy could return and not have to worry about him doing something to her.
