Personally I think Dr Baden has a great deal of credability. I also think his statements on Greta never hurt anything. Whoever did the first autopsy & swept a murder under the carpet did that.
Dr Baden is no dummy, he read the autopsy report & could read where she was beat to a pulp. He has seen a great many autopsy reports in his years & knew without a doubt hers was wrongly diagnosed.

Drew Peterson Attorney: This Is Not Entertainment

Hmmm, no mention of the fact that Kathleen Savio has been dead for years. No mention of the fact that there are now questions regarding a coverup or incompetent investigation at the time of her death. No mention that it is the national media attention on his missing wife that caused Kathleen Savio's case to be reopened. Nope, his conclusion is that it is only being looked at for "entertainment"

No mention of a million $$ life insurance policy, no mention of a will thaT surfaces naming Drew's uncle as Executor long after she died. No mention there was questions by her family after she died & they went ignored.

The entertainment is Drew getting on National TV stating he paid for his wife a boob job / tummy tucks / paid for braces / needed to see a pyschiatrist /took medicine for mood swings/ had hormonal swings. I'd like to slap the darn lawyer up side the head. :slap: He sure has his nerve!!!

Sounds like Drew and his attorney have guilty consciences.

UPDATE - See below. I want to make sure you have the chance to read all the documents and releases that we receive.
There are two important points to keep in mind in reading the statement of Sgt. Drew Peterson’s lawyer below:
1/ What did the state’s medical examiner who did the autopsy the day before Dr. Baden conclude? (that is not yet released….) Does he agree or disagree with Dr. Baden’s finding of homicide?
2/ Dr. Baden did NOT say Drew Peterson killed wife #3. He merely said her death was a homicide. In fact, he specifically said on ON THE RECORD on Friday night that he could not tell from the autopsy — he could only tell the manner of death (not who did it.) No one has named Peterson a suspect in her death — and an investigation should be commenced that is wide open and not focused on one person. Good investigators don’t have their suspect first and then collect evidence to prove it — they do the reverse: they gather evidence to see who their suspect is. (more at link)

Drew Peterson's attorney questioned the legitimacy of Baden's work.

"The results of Dr. Baden's autopsy on Ms. Savio do not surprise us, not because we believe they are accurate, but only because Dr. Baden had indicated over a week before he had performed the autopsy that he believed Kathleen's death was not an accident," lawyer Joel Brodsky said in a statement Sunday.

If Drew were smart he would be quite interested in the latest autopsy findings, and one would think he'd be wondering just who killed Kathleen.

But noooo, he already knows who did it, so the only thing he can do is deny, deny, deny.

Good point Taxi! Why isn't he asking for a complete investigation of the death of the mother of his children?

You got that right! He has known all along how she died and still seems to feel pretty darn smug about it!

Oh God! deny, deny, deny all over again......UGH!!!!:liar:

I'm confused about the coroner and the jury. Previously, the coroner said he thought Savio's death, at least, should have been ruled "undetermined," yet the jury decided it was an accident, so he had to go with that.

Now, the coroner is saying Savio was murdered. Will there be another jury?

And, what about the cop who originally swayed the jury to rule the death accidental? Who is he?

Another really odd thing about the jury was that a cop was ever allowed on it at all.Cops very rarely get chosen when they report for jury duty because of possible conflict of interest. My H says he would really like to be able to serve on a jury just to see what it is like. It is just a given that he has to report just like everyone else when they get summoned, but the lawyers don't even have to use a strike, the judge just releases him because he is a cop.Bollingbrook has one screwed up system.Susan

The coroner's jury is optional and the laws have changed since the first one AND it doesn't matter what the coroner's jury finds, they still can proceed with an investigation. Pretty screwy huh? It's basically a probable cause hearing for coroners.

But then the question is why didn't the DA step in at that point knowing the cornoner felt it should of atleast been undetermined?

My understanding is the DA can step in after that an still proceed with the case if he so chooses. So why didn't he step in at that point..I don't understand?

Also all of this is going on before a Grand Jury now and they need very little evidence in front of the grand jury to get a case to arrest and go on to trial. This has been a very long grand jury hearing in relation to not needing as much evidence to proceed as an ordinary hearing.

I am thinking that when the GJ is through they will arrest SP for the death of 3rd wife Kitty.

I can kind of understand why they didn't bother. Drew was terminated for his super-secret undercover drug investigation that put fellow officers at risk. A judge overruled that decision and reinstated him saying that the punishment was excessive. With LE covering for themselves, it would have been beyond tough for a DA to pursue. Especially, if Drew told his buddies that Kathleen had to be silenced to protect themselves.

And gee his memory is starting to fade..doesn't that always seem to happen to these guys..they can be very specific on certain things, other things like another cop he knew, he just can't seem to recall.

Has the search warrant been made part of the public record yet?

What county do the Peterson's live in?
