Should KC's probation officer treat her as they would any other probationer, unless KC does something wrong, that draws the attention of the PO, the PO will not give her probation any more time than is absolutely necessary to ascertain she is not breaking probation.
In todays economy, with the job market what it is today, and the obvious potential problems of hiring someone like KC, the PO will likely not push the employment issue. A statistic I would like to see is, what percentage of felons currently on probation in Florida, are gainfully employed? What percentage of felons in Florida have had their probation taken away, for the sole probation violation of being unable to get a job?
CM did say donations were pouring in from all over the country. I don't know how the IRS deals with this. It seems it would be impossible to track a 20$ cash donation to her through the mail. Even if it is true, as CM said, that thousands of dollars in donations have come in, they are still donations and I don't know that even a gift of $500 to her would have to be reported as income. She really should not have any problem paying the $20 per month or whatever it is for her probation costs. The donations have likely stopped by now, or have dwindled considerably.
As for her housing and basic necessities (food, shampoo, etc), there may have been enough donations to get her by for a year. Even if her housing and basics ended up being 30,000$, it is possible the donations would be enough for those costs. Her biggest expense, will likely be the 24hr protection (if indeed she is under 24hr protection). The cost of 24hr protection for a year, could run as high as $150,000 or more, based on 3 to 4 bodygaurds earning $40,000 a year each. (pure speculation on my part as to what a bodyguard earns). This could be part of the reason why the DT fought the probation issue so hard.
As for what HHBP determines to be KC's costs for the investigation of the lies she was convicted of, in regards to her current probation, I am not sure how that will work legally. She is under probation for the fraud felonies, not for lying. If HHBP says she must pay xxxxxxx in court costs, investigation costs etc, and must pay xxxxx amount per month (he will have to keep in mind she is indigent), even if she fails to pay these costs on a monthly basis, I am not sure that would be a probation violation. She has already served her time for the lying convictions. If she scores a huge $ amount for a book, movie or interview deal, of course, she would no longer be considered indigent, and it will open a whole new can of worms.
Taking classes online, is probably a viable alternative to her employment woes. She can possibly fill out job applications online as well, versus the attention that could occur should she go out in public and apply in person to potential employers. Either way, I doubt any one would hire her. I would guess, she is spending some time with online classes. If she is living her life basically under house arrest, (since her bodyguards would not really be too thrilled at the prospect of protecting her in a local nightclub), her public appearances will likely be very limited if they even happen at all. She probably does surf the internet, and it is very possible she reads here, since this site was mentioned during YM's time on the stand. She also probably watches TV a lot. She does seem to like to write, so it is also possible she could be writing a book,(and if she is smart) to be peddled after the civil suits are all done.
She has no friends to invite her out to the clubs, to house parties etc. She never seemed to be a drug addict. Safety is an issue if she goes out in public, and even if no one hurts her physically, the potential for verbal abuse towards her is very high. From her point of view, even as a narcissist, why would she want to go out in public and face that? Also, if the threats that the court seem to acknowledge as being true, public appearances by her will likely be very limited.
The best thing she can do, is to take classes online, perhaps fill out job applications online (for which she will not be hired), work on writing a book, get therapy (if she can afford it), and keep her nose clean and her mouth shut. There will be news stories when HHBP rules on costs, monthly news stories regarding her probation, new stories each time anyone in her family or the DT get face time on TV, or any public appearance that MSM deems newsworthy, and of course each time someone new files a civil suit with anybody involved in this case or there is breaking news about a current civil suit. For the next year, she will still be in the public eye quite often, without her ever showing her face.
After probation will be a whole different ballgame.
As always, my entire post is my opinion only.
