Whether or not her probation officer would be interested or not is irrelevant; none of her business. As it is none of the taxpayers of Florida's business. It is between Casey Anthony and the IRS, period.
The OP asked if "we" would see the headlines. "We" have no right to know Casey Anthony's dealing with the IRS.
But it became public knowledge didn't it? We don't have the right to see her filings with her SS # but certainly if she owes the government money we have a right to know otherwise we would not hear about it on the news. And it's common to see articles in the news about people who owe IRS money. KC was not someone special as far as the IRS is concerned. She had a certain length of time to respond regarding how she plans to pay her bill. That information is private. But if she still owes money I don't think that is private information. jmo
