"If it is your plan to murder someone, you don't tell half the people you know," says #PatrickFrazee's public defender, Adam Steigerwald. "Patrick Frazee came off like a complete and total fool. That doesnt make him guilty."
@csgazette #KelseyBerreth

Come on... He IS an idiot and a fool, of course he told half the people he knew. And technically, didn't Steigerwald just contradict himself? He just TOLD us PF is an idiot and a fool. So a fool WOULD tell half the people he knows of his murder plan!

Yeah and smart people don’t solve their problems via murder.

I still believe the cellphone data will be the testimony that will sink him. Perhaps, there are a few jurors that aren't convinced because of the lack of some physical evidence. What is the explanation for PF having her phone on Thanksgiving without the presence of KB at the franch? The phony text messages and calls while being in the same location? Also if a juror or two thinks KK is a liar, she ended up with the phone and gun in Idaho obviously handed off by PF. It's this part that makes PF look inept. He thought he was so smart burning the remains. How will a defense attorney get around that information in Closing Arguments? I guess they just need to skip over it. Maybe the jury will forget about it? Just like the jury would need to forget about PF's hit list?
How will the DOC keep PF from trying to retaliate once in prison? He's just so evil. I hope they segregate him from others.

I totally agree that the phone evidence is a critical piece of evidence that ties all of KKL's story together. It's independent, not temperable and not subjective.

They probably won’t refute the cell phone data, witness statements, or surveillance footage.

I fully expect them to ignore that stuff. If you can’t win on the facts, you have to try and win on emotion.

Use the hate of KK to manipulate the jury into ignoring the things that actually matter.

You were right!

Personally I hope that the jury takes a long, careful time. Review everything. Twice. Ten times. Let Cowboy imagine there's a chance in the world he'll breathe free air. Erase all illusion of a biased jury, rushing to justice. Careful, nice and slow. AND THEN GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES.

MOO

But that will still only take a couple hours. I think we're definitely back with a verdict before 5 Mountain.

Stiegerwald says there’s no image of Frazee or Kenney that supports the prosecution’s case. Also, he says the tote is heavy empty & that Frazee couldn’t move quickly with it if a body was inside.

So, the defense is "it's all such a strange coincidence!" "what an unlucky guy!" "just the unluckiest guy on earth!"

Ok, so 11:15 MST and I predicted a verdict within 2 hours. 1:15 MST. Tick tick...

I said before 7MST, but I'm revising it to before 5 MST since we got done far quicker than I thought.

I wonder if this means they already had all jury instructions?

The day began with Judge Scott Sells instructing seven female and five male jurors how to proceed their deliberation, only considering the facts of this case, and having no communication or research about the trial to influence a decision. Frazee wore a blue-stripped-dress shirt, staring at the jurors during instruction.

Prosecution rests after closing statements in Patrick Frazee trial
SMH. He's trying to intimidate the Jurors.

To anyone who says “I think KK killed Kelsey,” even the defense didn’t claim that.

To anyone who says “I don’t believe PF wrote those letters,” even the defense acknowledged that he did (by calling him an idiot for it).

Do we know anything yet about how they went?
From the reports, it sure sounds like the prosecution hit every point and was on point. The defense had to resort to saying, "Our client is an idiot and a fool." So there's that.

Haaa yes. Basically, “it would take a complete idiot to commit a murder on Thanksgiving, but my client is a fool and an idiot.”

So the defense just made the case for the prosecution. Well done!
Well exactly...

I'
What was Frazee’s demeanor? Was Ma there?

I did not see this mentioned anywhere, but I'd like to know this too -- was SF in the courtroom, hallway or a no show?

Exactly. His defense was that he's an unlucky idiot. He said stupid things, then something awful happened, then he said more stupid things. But that awful thing he said stupid things about was in no way his doing. What a weak, weak, defense.

What's this investigator timeline the defense is questioning? Perhaps they should have presented an accurate murder timeline of their own....

"It is the worst plan anybody could come up with."

That made me laugh out loud.
Yeah, man. We know. We all know!
