What's this investigator timeline the defense is questioning? Perhaps they should have presented an accurate murder timeline of their own....

I think they're talking about the large timeline that the prosecution put together to show everything that happened on one timeline. It was testified to and show on one of the last days of the trial.

'Premeditated, cold and cruel': Prosecutors' final arguments in murder trial
As the trial of a Colorado man accused of killing his fiancee came to a close, prosecutors Monday described the case as a "deliberate, premeditated, cold and cruel murder."

[...]

In closing arguments on Monday, prosecutors said Frazee knew Berreth, 29, was dead because he never attempted to contact her after Nov. 25, 2018.

Prosecutor Beth Reid also reminded the jury that Frazee was captured on a neighbor's surveillance camera outside Berreth's condo at the same time he claimed he was 40 miles away tending to his cattle.

[...]

"Her beaten and battered body is in that box, which he keeps on the back of the truck while he eats Thanksgiving dinner," said Reid.

So nerve-wracking.:(

Exactly. His defense was that he's an unlucky idiot. He said stupid things, then something awful happened, then he said more stupid things. But that awful thing he said stupid things about was in no way his doing. What a weak, weak, defense.
Yeah, he's been consistent in being a stupid idiot so it's not really relevant to the crime.

One has nothing to do with the other.

Imo

Again, the case is in the jury’s hands. We’ll get a 20-minute heads up (not an hour like previously thought) and go from there. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney

Is #PatrickFrazee a murderous manipulator, or a victim of lies? Only jury can say now. Deliberations in progress. Stay tuned for verdict

@Kapua, media is only getting a 20 minute heads-up on the verdict instead of one hour.
Only a 20 minute heads up on verdict now!

Then that’ll be two of us. The b*of the funny farm goes where her land goes. God ain’t making anymore.

I would agree with the defense that Thanksgiving is the worst day to plan a murder (as if there were a more appropriate day...) if it were not for the fact that I think it is even dumber to be on trial for murder and PUT IN WRITING that you want ALL the witnesses murdered.

Clearly, PF does not view the world the same as everyone else....

Clearly. Just like most murderers I venture to guess. I mean what kind of person views murder as a good solution to their problems?

To anyone who says “I think KK killed Kelsey,” even the defense didn’t claim that.

To anyone who says “I don’t believe PF wrote those letters,” even the defense acknowledged that he did (by calling him an idiot for it).

This is almost too easy: “huh, yeah” “well, exactly”

Notably, Patrick Frazee’s public defender called him a fool and stupid, but said that’s not reason alone to convict him. He was talking about the jailhouse notes where Frazee apparently asked for help killing key witnesses in the case.

No dispute of their authenticity...

I don't recall having heard this before, either! Makes me wonder if it is an entirely accurate quote, to be honest.
I remember. pretty sure Kk would have been recorded, while giving her account of what happened.

Patrick Frazee trial: 'Sick plot' resulted in fiancee's brutal death by baseball bat, prosecutor says
Patrick Frazee had one thing on his mind last Thanksgiving as he ran errands with the mother of his child, prosecutors say — and it wasn’t a holiday dinner.

“While Kelsey Berreth is planning a future, the defendant — this man, this man — is plotting her death,” said prosecutor Beth Reed, jabbing her finger in the defendant's direction during closing remarks at his nationally watched trial.

"The evidence is compelling. It is overwhelming, and the defendant is guilty."

[...]

“Do not check reckless manslaughter!” Reed barked as she encouraged the panel to convict Frazee, 33, of the top charge, with its automatic life sentence in prison.

Accusing Frazee of a long record of manipulation and lies, Reed frequently turned Frazee’s alleged words against him.

When one of Frazee’s friends suggested the missing Berreth might resurface, Frazee allegedly told her, “She’s never coming back,” Reed reminded the jury.

To a different friend, Frazee allegedly said he knew the secret to murder, reportedly telling him, "No body, no crime."

And when Frazee arrived late to his home on the holiday, he felt sorry for himself for having to celebrate under a cloud, she said.

“You know how hard it was to eat Thanksgiving Dinner while Kelsey’s in the truck?” Reed said, quoting words attributed to him by his mistress, Krystal Lee, who say Berreth's remains were in a plastic storage bin in the truck bed.

[...]

Reed reminded the jury of Berreth’s unforgettable final words, as related by Lee: “Please stop.”

[...]

Looks like the Prosecution's Closing Argument came DIRECTLY from @MassGuy's Avatar (great outline BTW!)

They originally said when the verdict was in they'd give a one hour notice....now it's 20 minutes that you have to be in your seat.

I think this thread is breaking WS—running super wonky...
I wonder how many people are in here right now? On the old platform we could see all the members and number of guests who were currently viewing a particular thread—I wonder if the mods can see; I imagine there are a lot of people in here right now.

l'll add my sweetie pie little dog, who sits on my lap watching the screen throughout the case.
She, unlike PF, is no fool.

I am surprised as well.... but then again, he has an excellent, well qualified team of prosecutors.... loaded with a ton of strong evidence. He has confidence in his team and is training a strong group of potential DA's. Good for May. He doesn't need the spotlight.... Kelsey Berreth does. And so far, it sounds like his team has shone that spotlight on KB throughout the trial.. Fingers crossed the jury agrees..
Sounds like May did the final closing statement after the defense presented their closing argument. (It must be pretty hard to follow the superior argument of "Our client is stupid, an idiot, and a fool.... and proceeded to commit a murder that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is all of those things.)

Yep! I’m floored. Yes, he DID try to plan 12 other murders from behind bars but it’s absolutely ludicrous to think he actually killed his fiancée. <barf>

My vote:

Oh, there's no question. Guilty. 1st degree. There was NEVER a question.
