Police are investigating after a body was found floating in the water at Key Biscayne Tuesday.

The body was found by marine patrol near the Crandon Park Marina, Miami-Dade Police officials said.

Footage showed the body covered by a yellow tarp on the back of a patrol boat.

Police said homicide detectives were responding to the scene to investigate.

According to Namus, he has a possible name of "Cindy Jhon", but I can't find anyone by that name though.

I have found a Midensley Jhon and someone related to him named Jinsley Jhon from Florida. But alas no Cindy.

Possibly linked to the Cadet family as well. He is likely Haitian by way of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

I hope this gets resolved soon!

Wonder if this could be related to earlier remains found. Now a human head has been found in the same area? (251 Crandon Blvd). There has been no indication yet whether male or female.

This is not the same person as the human head washed ashore just yesterday with no other remains found according to authorities so may not be related at all. Just found it coincidental that they were found in the same area.

This head should probably have it's own thread. Let me tell you, as a lifelong Miamian I am fairly jaded. We've seen just about everything here. When I saw this on the news last night I was speechless, dumbfounded and horrified. It give me chills straight up my spine.

Police investigating after human head washes ashore at Key Biscayne

Police are investigating after a human head washed ashore on Key Biscayne on Tuesday morning.

This human head, now known to be male, washed ashore on Tuesday 11/12/24 at Key Biscayne, Florida which is a barrier island right off the city of Miami.
My first thought immediately goes to a migrant trying to make it ashore who perished at sea and ( sorry to be so graphic) the head disarticulated from the rest of the body.
So far, the only update I have seen to this story is confirmation by authorities that the head belonged to a male...
