Thanks, y'all. I should have looked at my raffle ticket as soon as I got it instead of waiting months to even get it out of my purse. Looks like I've been had for $10. Glad that's all it was. They had the car at the fundraiser and it sure was pretty!

Since it was in Florida, you can contact the DA and see if the car has been given away and if not, file charges. They prosecuted two companies for this in my state and put them in jail.

So that is how they get their money. If I were you I would contact the BBB in your area and also the city Attorney or Florida's Attorney General would handle that also. Can you imagine if you broke this story to the media and KFN was busted, right at the time they are working with the A's? They would have some explaining to do.

Wouldn't look good for KC case either. Took her daughter to a sitter that doesn't exist, to an apartment that is vacant or doesn't exist. Being searched for by a corp. that doesn't exist. Hmm...

He was stopped for a traffic offense, his license numbers were run and there is a warrant because he is in arrears in child support payments.

Attempting to impersonate a police officer? Probably child support related, in arrears again.

I am not seeing such a rabid past as some of you are seeing.

Can't there be organizations that contribute just the fliers and the tents and advice? Isn't there room for everyone?

Could I ask What would impress you to take notice ?? I sure work hard for my money like alot of ppl and want to help others also but just dont like being scammed by ppl using children... further more don't think someone can run a non profit if have a criminal record.. at least that is what i have read so far..

I live in county where the arrest occurred. I could go downtown to the court house and read the arrest reports. I know how to read the file, the dispo, sentence etc. I used to work criminal for the clerks office. Is there any interest in this? The good stuff is in the file not in the online version.

KidFinders Network Dennis and Sherri Milstead are founders of KidFinders Network, a 501c3 charitable organization. They received their advanced ruling 501c3 certification from the IRS in 2006. On September 12 Ms. Milstead was copied on an email that had been originally sent to Lee Anthony, and she was copied on his reply to the potential donor without the donor’s permission. Lee Anthony directed the prospective donor to the various ways of donating to the trust, but instructed prospective donor to consider donating to KFN, as they continued to be so supportive of the Anthony family. Ms. Milstead proceeded to email the prospective donor, unsolicited, the 3 ways she could donate, which included her direction that the prospective donor could use the KFN PayPal account located on their site for BOTH KFN, and HFCMT. Notably, this occurred after the trust had been closed by the bank. As the prospective donor is a former banking executive within Sun Trust, the prospective donor became concerned and our investigation into KFN ensued.
