Not only did they spend an hour - Kronk was there to meet them. He would have had the opportunity to point to the bag he saw two days prior.

:confused::confused: my head is going to explode soon!

I need anothe DOC DUMP, pronto!

That is about Aug 12. If the Sentinel is correct about the 1 hour examination... there was no "uninterested" about it on Aug 13.

Why would they come up with something like this if it's not true?

LOL. It's the media!

The media were the ones who said LE only looked for a short time before being scared out of the woods by a big snake.

No I meant why would they lie that LE did their job indeed?
When I heard that an officer was afraid of the snake and left without checking now that's what I couldn't believe.

I guess there is a longer version of the GMA Kronk interview. I haven't watched it. But if the interviewer doesn't understand these kinds of nagging questions like we have... then they won't get asked of Kronk.

Mr. Kronk, on Aug 13, did you specifically direct LE to the bag that you found suspicious? Did they look inside this particular bag? Etc.

They already DUMPED this DOC?..I thought I saw LE logs from each call with the time included plus statements from the responding officers..Am I  or simply ?

Lifts head off of cushion...stumbles over mini fridge...walks threw groovy beaded curtin...

Up from the basement- HI Everyone, Good morning!! let's hope we can get some actual FACTS today.:)
as, much as I love my fuzzy slippers. We need Answers!

After watching RK's appearence 4 times! Insane right? A few observations:

Not happy with LE
Not happy with well, us- public
When asked if he would do it again? He shook his head NO while giving this long answer.
That makes me sad:( Caylee was found and that's what everyone wanted.

The A's are Crazy and the JB show( which has been suspicously quit, if you ask me)
are making us nuts well me, and admit it... you too.

If he was able to get up to $20,000 for a picture of a SNAKE, more power to him. Animal lover that I am...even a Vegetarian. Glad/Relieved to see it was a snake.

I really think(hope) he is a nice guy, trying to do the right thing.

Question: RK is saying "WE" in the beginning of the interview. Does that mean "We" as in he was not working alone? or "WE" speaking for all MR's? anyone know? thanks:)sorry , if this has already been addressed, had to get more coffee, before finishing post.

RK stated that he was working with another MR on that first day and they were seeking a shady place to rest before returning to the office.

Exactly, it happened 20 years ago..no doubt this ex-girlfriend was a nutjob and and a drama queen. He was still to easily manipulated by her and she used him to come an get involved in whatever her problems were, again he wound being the bad guy when in fact he was doing the right thing by helping his friend.

FWIW, I watched so much last night I don't remember which program I heard this, but it was stated that it was the then current boyfriend of the ex-girlfriend who had him charged with the kidnapping which was later dropped.

"The man who found the remains of Caylee Anthony said on national television this morning that Orange County deputies were uninterested in following up on tips of a suspicious bag he found near the Anthonys' home."

Hmm,discrediting LE again.
And what on earth was THAT suspicious about that bag????Is it such a big secret???
note to myself:try and stay away from meter reader threads.
NOBODY is THAT nice. That's what I think.
No,I don't believe he had anything to do with Caylee's death,no,it was Casey,BUT the circumstances of the finding and all the calls and snakes and stuff, the fact that such a man in such a situation wasn't curious and didn't go back......

Maybe he took it home to see what's in it.Noone would have left if that bag was SOOOOO suspicious.Ok,I am done, keeping my mouth shut. But I don't trust this man.

You know some people really are that nice.

I can't believe that anyone would think that this man took Caylee's body home with him.

Madeleine, your entitled to your opinion, even though I strongly disagree with you. And I would like to thank you (sort of) becauseI have been looking for a reason to stop thinking about this case and today I found it.

Mr. Kronk has been nothing but upfront and honest with everything he knows and everything he did. Unlike little Caylee's family who have truly done some the most outrageous, suspicious things I have ever seen a family of a missing loved one do.

After watching what has happened to this man, I can personally say that I would be extremely careful about ever attempting to help out in any way shape or form in any similar case in the future.

Maur---I just watched the GMA video, and completely agree w/ you. I think RK is being completely honest, and did nothing wrong, and I even think I believe him when he said he wasn't tipped off by anyone, and that he did this all by himself. I have to believe that, b/c if he really was involved w/ others who knew where the body was, he would have stayed silent like the rest of them have! And yes, sadly, I too will think twice before I involve myself in a situation to help another (if in a situation like this one I ever find myself).:confused:

I know many, many people that are THAT nice. I call them friends and family!! :)

They would never consider taking a bag home that they felt could contain the remains of a murdered child!! Absurd!!

I think it is ridiculous to accuse Krunk of taking a bag of remains home.

I just watched the GMA interview (but not the longer version). Kronk says that when he called LE on Aug 11&12 it was in the evening at his home (it could have been dark). I suppose if LE went to the scene just after his calls it would have been night. Then he talks about meeting LE at the scene on Aug 13. He says the officer only just visually scanned the area and left. He also mentions water.

But what he says about just a quick eye sweep is in stark contrast with the Sentinel saying that LE spent an hour there and cleared the area (Aug 13).

I don't see what difference it makes if there was a photo of a snake or if the snake had followed him home. I hope for Mr. Kronk's sake that he DID take photos of what he thought looked suspicious. It means LE has those and they would be even more evidence.

The bottom line is that he found Caylee. He had nothing to do with her disappearance or murder. He has been cleared of any wrongdoing and will be able to testify that he brought LE to the location to finally bring some Justice to this little girl.

Just watched the interview.. and just as I thought.. this guy wasn't tipped, and never met the A's. If he was the person speaking to DC on the phone, I don't think he would have come across as honest as he did this morning.

RK did what he should have done... followed proper protocol and called LE. LE didn't take his tip seriously, so he stopped caring. How differently all of this would have turned out if LE had taken it seriously, and searched through the swamp the best they could.

As far as getting paid a licensing fee for a pic of a snake (I didn't see it!)... more power to him. I would have done the same thing. Maybe he will donate it to a missing children's fund... he seems like the kind of guy who's disgusted at what that cash may symbolize to those who doubt him.

I don't think he's a hero, but he is the kind of guy that this case needed... he came along at the right time, followed his gut instincts, and found what no one else could.

Do you know which date the snake picture was taken ?

What is the definition of a hero? A person who shows exceptional courage, nobility, etc.

I believe Mr. Kronk is showing a lot of courage to withstand the treatment he has gotten for his efforts in recovering Caylee. In my book, it is noble as well. It appears he meets the criteria and by definition is indeed a hero.

There are very few heros standing up for Caylee in this case. I know we can all name them without a list and not one of them is from her own family.
