Kronk Discloses More Information About Finding Caylee's Remains

Just watched the interview.. and just as I thought.. this guy wasn't tipped, and never met the A's. If he was the person speaking to DC on the phone, I don't think he would have come across as honest as he did this morning.

RK did what he should have done... followed proper protocol and called LE. LE didn't take his tip seriously, so he stopped caring. How differently all of this would have turned out if LE had taken it seriously, and searched through the swamp the best they could.

As far as getting paid a licensing fee for a pic of a snake (I didn't see it!)... more power to him. I would have done the same thing. Maybe he will donate it to a missing children's fund... he seems like the kind of guy who's disgusted at what that cash may symbolize to those who doubt him.

I don't think he's a hero, but he is the kind of guy that this case needed... he came along at the right time, followed his gut instincts, and found what no one else could.

I agree but If It was me I would have walked over to the bag in front of LE and opened that bag.He could have even called the detectives in charge of Caylee case.Just thinking that Caylee could have been found so much sooner.

What is the definition of a hero? A person who shows exceptional courage, nobility, etc.

I believe Mr. Kronk is showing a lot of courage to withstand the treatment he has gotten for his efforts in recovering Caylee. In my book, it is noble as well. It appears he meets the criteria and by definition is indeed a hero.

There are very few heros standing up for Caylee in this case. I know we can all name them without a list and not one of them is from her own family.

This I do not agree with. A hero would have never said I stopped caring, Not if he really felt there was a 2 yr old rotting away in a plastic bag.

OK. I'm unable to look this up: In any of the updates, did Kronk ever say that he saw anyone going into the woods: PI's, Psychics, Anthonys, etc.?

what I got from it was that when LE came out, after that third call, neither of them saw the bag. It must have been moving around. He said the officer looked up and down and didn't see anything. You'd think RK would be saying, "it's right there, dufus!!!"

I think he was concerned, but didn't really trust his own judgement. Who would really believe they have found the body of a missing child? How many people called in tips and said "it's probably nothing,but...."?
And no way would I open a trash bag on the side of the road or in the woods.NO WAY,especially with a child missing.
I think if we actually put ourselves in his shoes at that time we wouldn't be so quick to judge.Hindsite is 20/20.JMO

Kronk says that on Aug 11 he and his co-worker had an hour to kill at 1:30pm. They went to Suburban Dr. because it's shady. Apparently, that is when he saw suspicious things. Was he actually at the crime scene then, or some other part of Suburban (closer to the school)?

Would the street and mowed shoulder at the crime scene have been shady at 1:30pm - or only if you actually enter the woods? Were they seeking shade with a vehicle or on foot? IOW, did they drive to shade or walk? Parked on Suburban or Hopespring?

I don't consider RK a hero. I bet he doesn't either. He's just a regular guy who did the right thing.

What in the world is going on here? So he's been to that site in November also? Why would that small detail be left out? Did he find the body then? Could he have been the person on the phone talking to the PI trying to lead him to the body? And since the PI's didn't find it, he went back to the site in December to "just find it himself"? I am so confused about all of this but I am still not convinced that this meter reader is some stand up guy. I knew something was not right about him and now we find about this? I wonder what's going to be said on Tuesday?

 Isn't that odd. It does make you wonder if he is the one who was on the phone, you're right. This case give's new meaning to "tangled web."

I think it is ridiculous to accuse Krunk of taking a bag of remains home.

I agree.
I'd like to hear the Defense's reason for accusing Kronk of this (if true)
What would be Kronk's motive for taking a trash bag containing human remains? Really Now:rolleyes:
Smoke and Mirrors.
Trying to get us to forget that Casey was the last one to see Caylee alive, that her car smelled of decomp, that her car had high levels of Chloroform, that she didn't report her child missing, until her mother finally caught up with her and she was the one to call 911. UGH
WE won't forget!

I'm not sure this is totally true, redhead. Christina made some money from her Globe interview.

As for Tony and Annie - I am still holding out hope for them. Tony's roommates seemed to be very nice young men.

Salem

I appauld those who have not made money from this child's death. Beside's Tony & Annie, I can think of Dante' & Lake Vaj. I don't think they have made any bucks, not sure Jessie has either.

In his interview he mentions that in August this section of Suburban would only be used by maintenance people dealing with the school. He makes no mention of actually seeing anybody.

C'mon. He had to "know" something--like he was very familiar with the case and/or he saw some "authorized" people going in there.

If he WAS NOT familiar with the case, he would not have found the body, IMO>

Thats the part I dont understand, he said he saw the bag but the officer didnt.I would have ran to the bag and held it up and made sure Caylee was not in that bag. If I felt that strongly she was there. I Might have been arrested until le looked in the bag.

Where are we seeing that he was at the "site" in Nov? The article I read stated he was back in the neighborhood for work, but did not go into the woods. It supports what he said to Robin Roberts... LE didn't care, so he stopped caring. We should all be glad he started caring again, in December. NG would still be starting her show off with "WHERE... IS LITTLE CAYLEE?"

I guess there is a longer version of the GMA Kronk interview. I haven't watched it. But if the interviewer doesn't understand these kinds of nagging questions like we have... then they won't get asked of Kronk.

Mr. Kronk, on Aug 13, did you specifically direct LE to the bag that you found suspicious? Did they look inside this particular bag? Etc.

Did he ever call the tip into the tip line as he was directed to do. I didnt see it in the tips that have been released. I'm thinking he got frustrated with LE & called the Anthony's direct or told his boss & his boss told the A's.

The defense will tear him apart if he is not honest and consistent with why he was at the scene on Aug 11. Was it to seek shade? Or is that a bogus explanation for a Caylee search while you have time to kill? I bet the defense demands that the co-worker also testify.
