94-Year-Old Cancer Center Employee Killed in Hit and Run by Coworker in Kansas

A 94-year-old cancer center employee was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Kansas on Thursday. A 24-year-old woman, also an employee of the same cancer center, was arrested after fleeing the scene, according to court documents.

The alleged driver in the accident, identified in court documents obtained by The Kansas City Star as 24-year-old nursing assistant Kelsi Carmack, fled the scene and was arrested several hours after the accident

Wow, 94...what an awful way to go after such a long life. A hit and run is a huge fear of mine and I think fight or flight can kick in hence why SOME people flee. So sad for everyone involved!
