KS KS - Burnadette Jones, 43, last seen in pyjamas, 10 March 2024

Friends and family of Burnadette Jones are deeply concerned for her well-being since losing touch earlier this month. Family say they last spoke to Burnadette on March 5th. She was spotted days later near Wichita State University, but no further contact or sightings known.

Burnadette has no cell phone or vehicle with her. She is 5 foot 2 inches and weighs around 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Her pics show her looking happy -- big, pretty smiles. Hoping she is in no danger. It is bothersome that she didn't take her phone with her. In addition, her not taking her vehicle might indicate that someone may have visited her -- possibly not in a good way.
If she went out with someone, surely she would have taken her phone. Even if she just went for a walk by herself, she would surely have her phone.
Not liking this...hoping she is okay.

I can't find any missing person report with her middle name. There is always a possibility that there could be TWO Burnadette Jones, both born in late 1980, both the same height, with similar facial structure, but it does list her "AKA" as "Burnie" Jones, which is the name used in her missing persons report linked earlier in the thread. Her AKA (copied from case No. 2003-TR-012726 include:

• ALIAS Bernadette Jones
• AKA Burnadette Marie Jones
• AKA Burnie Jones

"Recently Booked" is not an official court site, so I always try and match it with an officia court record, but I didn't see anything in Sedgwick Co for a FTA hold (though obviously, the booking photo came from somewhere. . .) Although could not find anything related to a detention for failure to appear, doesn't mean it's not pending, just not yet in the county court record system today or the FTA was in another county and Sedgwick Co, picked her up. She was issued a summons (copy attached) for the debt case below from 2025 but the hearing isn't until January so she couldn't have failed to appear that one. All other cases IN THIS COUNTY are disposed (there are 44 of them going back over 10 years.

There are at least a dozen other debt collection cases in the last 10+ years. Plus about a half dozen misdemeaners, mostly related to driving with a suspended/revoked license.
The were felony cases for theft (no violent crime) in 2012 for which she was incarcerated 11 months. One shows that it was transferred and assigned to a judicial officer in 2025. Not sure why as it's showing as already "disposed" in 2023.
