Jerel Hicks suffers from depression and bipolar disorder. He left home sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Jerel stands 5-foot-11, weighs 145 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be wearing a white or gray shirt and blue basketball shorts with a white stripe. He has multiple tattoos.

It is believed that Jerel left to harm himself. He left his phone, wallet and car at home.

Missing Derby father found safe and back at home, wife says

A Derby father has been found and is safe two days after he disappeared, his wife says.

The woman said that her husband, 29-year-old Jerel Hicks, called Thursday morning and is back at home. She said he was checked out by police and will be getting the help he needs.
