To me it means that (so far) there's no evidence of foul play or accident and perhaps no indication that he could be a danger to himself.Could someone explain this whole "does not appear to be in danger" aspect to me?
Generally, I've only seen that sort of wording when LE has a pretty good idea of what has taken place, and isn't particularly worried about the person's whereabouts, is why I asked. Here, though....To me it means that (so far) there's no evidence of foul play or accident and perhaps no indication that he could be a danger to himself.
His cell phone and other items are accounted for.
I'm thinking deer stand or he got into a vehicle. If he left in a vehicle, I hope it was voluntarily. Since he moves from one place to another, it's possible that someone was squatting on his property or that someone attempted to rob his house.

The link to Find Jesse fb page is included on link above, when I click it,
I don’t even see the couple posts & comments that were on here earlier this week...
Can you explain what you mean by deer stand? I just searched the term and it looks like a place where people can rest/hide when hunting, like a perch. Are you saying that it might be mobile...you can move it? Or it can be used to get away from an area without being seen?
A basic deer stand for a tree looks like a chair with no legs. It attaches to the tree via a harness and/or straps. They keep hunters and their scents above the ground to give them a good angle for shooting deer and to make them less conspicuous. They can be taken down and moved rather easily.
Gosh ... I wonder if we’ll ever know what happened here ...
