I see Latino as well. I also see Leremy I think on the other one. Cursive J doesn't start that way.

Agree, but are those warts or abrasions or something from the water?

LaMancha, as in The Man of LaMancha?

Also a dairy goat breed -- is that a wolf or a goat? Is the ram a gang symbol?

Not saying the deceased is a gang member, just trying to find information.

The mascot of the US Naval Academy is a goat, IIRC.
MOO I think that's decomposition. I could definitely be wrong though

I didn't notice it either! The Word "Wolf" is tattooed under the animal.

I think the word above it looks like "Latino" (but the o is not readable). Maybe his nickname was "Latino Wolf""

I saw the writing wolf and I was wondering why some thought it was a dog.
He could have been known as "Latino Wolf" perhaps.

IMOO.

I honestly thought it was a tiger before I saw the "wolf" and thought that the letters were a faded, striped tail coming up over his head. I think the discoloration we are seeing is probably due to death/being in water for an extended period of time possibly?

Now come to think of it I was looking closer and it Looks to me like there is a line after the Cursive L.. so it would read Lleremy and in Spanish the double L is pronounced as a Y.. Just my thoughts on this.. I cannot tell if it is another line done In ink or if its the flesh deterioration

I totally saw Latino Wolf and yes it looks like Leremy also and they all look like prison tattoos..

Maybe that was his nickname or he thought he was hot!..
I wish we could see what he looked like!

Oh my! It's a male beauty contest in Miami? Maybe he had won in the past? Anyone want to send pics of the tats to the organizers of that contest to see if they recognize them?

Yea madamx I was seeing the same thing too however maybe there is another tattoo connected to it and that is why it looks like Lleremy???

I think the two lines before the first e are connected at the bottom and it's a J with a weirdly high starting flourish, but the flesh is so deteriorated it's hard to tell.

I did some searching for all the possible combos: Jeremay, Jeremoy, Leremay and Leremoy. I didn't find much for most of these combos as names but I did find that "Jeremay" is both a surname and used as a female name, like the female version of Jeremy. While it's possible his name was some form of this tattoo, I'm wondering if maybe he had a daughter or girlfriend named Jeremay? Since his other tat says "Amy", it would make more sense that this is a woman's name instead of his own name. The other possibility is that his last name is Jeremay. Although it is not a very common surname, I found people with that last name in Ohio, Michigan, Utah and Texas when I searched on familysearch.org

Hmmm.. Searching Lleremy actually brought up a few people with that name spelling and they are Latino. You could be onto something that this was meant to be a double L.

I don't know. If that line is part of the tattoo and it is supposed to be another L wouldn't it be a loop? It almost looks like a capital V.

There is a minimum security prison not far from KAW river up on Hwy 5 leading out of Wyandotte County. The mama tat looks like a prison tat, with the star above it. I am pretty sure he was not an escapee but if he was ever released he may have just stayed in the area. There are businesses that will take undocumented workers for hard labor day jobs, and being Hispanic (if he is) there is a large population in that area. I know there is a bridge that they can wait under in the mornings and trucks will come by and see who wants to work certain jobs.

if "Jeremy" was pronounced it Spanish it would sound like "yeremy" or "lleremy" I wonder if they misspelled the name when they named him?

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) - Police are investigating after a body was found in the Missouri River at Kaw Point on Friday.

Officers were advised about 1:15 p.m. of a possible body in the river near the BPU Nearman Power Plant at 55th Street and Dickinson Road.

The Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department traveled up river from Kaw Point and located the body near Interstate 635.

The body was first spotted in the area near English Landing Park, which in recent months has been the scene where several cars and bodies were recovered. An employee manning the tower at the BPU Nearman Power Plant made a disturbing discovery around 3:15 in the afternoon.

"An employee down there observed to be what he thought was a body floating down the river," KCK Officer Thomas Tomasic said.

KCK firefighters headed upstream where they found the body had already traveled a couple of miles down the Missouri River toward I-635. People at Kaw Point watched in disbelief as firefighters brought the body ashore.
"We don`t know where this person may have gone into the river, it could have been way outside of KCK, it`s definitely been in the water for a while," Officer Tomasic said.

ok, English landing is in Parkville MO and Kaw Point is where there is a boat ramp. North of this area will take you to St. Joseph MO and on up into Nebraska/Iowa. There is a Behavior Center near KAW River but again, I don't think he came from a rehab or prison because he would have already been in the system as missing or unaccounted for. I have no idea how to tell the speed of the river (maybe someone else can) and if that gets figured maybe we can narrow it down as to where he was first dumped in the river.

Looking at the map of Nebraska, there are several conservation areas that border Kansas and Nebraska and the river. Could he have been camping? Homeless?
