Something I've been pondering...

WE now know it was the LL that stopped by and saw LH peeking through the window.

What if EG thought it was a case-worker coming to check out the house in consideration of her requesting more time with the boys?

LH may not have known who it was that stopped by and subsequently saw him possibly home alone. He may have just mentioned a man/woman came by and had seen him.

In her mind, this would have been a MUCH worse scenario. Causing her to project blame for losing her boys onto sweet little LH. I could see this setting her off.

You might not need addresses. Our small town post office allows bulk mail that goes into every mailbox and rural customer mailboxes serviced by our post office. No addresses needed as the bulk mailing goes into each and every mailbox. I imagine it is something all post offices can do, but I have no idea what a bulk rate for mailing a flier would be in a large city like Wichita, and\or the smaller surrounding towns. But perhaps worth looking into?

After reading where responded to Chihuahua's quote (both are above) confirming that's why wanted searches private I have this feeling more arrests are coming. I don't know about anyone else but I feel more arrests coming later on over the simple fact that Emily is in jail so who else could move them if they know about them and why would they be worried about that? Wonder if they have evidence to suggest that she had help or that someone else knows what happened bc otherwise this wouldn't be a concern among LE etc. JMO :thinking:

Yes I didn't post the original link about the searchers' comments, but I do wonder if there are more arrests coming. Seems logical she had help after the fact.

It wouldn’t shock me if he’s found in Butler Co. I believe that is the same county that her case for the boys is. I say this because she didn’t grow up in Sedgwick Co. She grew up in Butler. She’s more familiar with that area. I’ve been wrong more times than once in all of this mess but that’s my gut feeling.

Someone help me out, regarding Lucas' being sick for two weeks, did we ever get confirmation that he was sick and had seen a doctor? Can one of our Wichita locals confirm for me, does a child need to be vaccinated for measels in order to attend pre-k?

confirmed he was sick with the flu for 8 days, I believe.

I wouldn't read too much into it. It's extremely common to keep search areas secret for exactly that reason, even with no evidence whatsoever that another person is involved. Honestly, I'm surprised that "reason" was supposed to be secret because to me it seems like common knowledge, but that's probably because I'm a true crime fanatic and know lots of things the average citizen doesn't!

We know EG &JH have a violent relationship right. When things are there way around and a MAN beats female all time and she takes him back in situations like this what's is said ( think about it) . Men don't tell when stuff is flipped around and the man is the one being abused. What is the possibility he is letting her back and he is bowing down to her so that she will not hurt him? I know very hard for people to think about when its a Man if this was flipped it would be no problem for people to think but really its does go on. What if?

He left the residence for weeks on end for work. In a completely different state. She had no job and no money of her own to come after him. He wasn't scared of her.

JH returned to work, following the move, on 2/9 for 20 days I believe. So, no, I don't think she expect him home that Sunday.

I have been thinking alot about the judge rejecting EG's request to lower her bond. I truly believe that the detective must have been able to show strong evidence of EG's involvement in Lucas's disappearance to deny a bond reduction for a case that EG hasn't even been charged with yet. They would have to have strong evidence that she would be a flight risk or that she could tamper with evidence to not even let EG go home on house arrest. That option wasn't even given. I keep thinking about how the judge says that he isn't saying that EG is innocent or guilty of what's being investigated but it's "a reality". I wonder what he meant by that? I keep picking it apart but the only thing I can conclude is that while he can't SAY whether she is guilty or not, the reality is that she IS. Thoughts?

I thought this same thing at first. That he must have been due home and she had no choice but to report him missing. There must be some reason why she waited until that late on the Saturday. Even if it was just to get her story straight.

I'm still thinking of you Lucas. I've not had much to add in the past week but I'm still following along quietly.
Out of all the threads I've followed on WS I've never seen this much WS community efforts. Between the mappers, the people who post flyers, people who are out searching and much more, you have all come together and done Lucas proud.

Websleuths is like its own private task force. Keep up the fantastic work, I'm cheering you all on.
