I guess it's dusk or dark there now? I hate every night that Lucas's loving family have to try to sleep not knowing where he is.

So often with these kids the tragedy is that relatives have become distant, for whatever reasons, but in this case there seem to be a plethora of loving relatives who even had the guts to go to cps with evidence, and it's still come to this? He is a lucky boy that he's had, and still has, these loving people sticking up for *him*.

If she abuses prescription drugs or other types of narcotics... that's not a far-fetched idea.
Seems like JH is defending her when he suggests that the 'abuse' questions can be dealt with later.
But if reality hits , or when she detoxes-- maybe she'll come clean about everything !

Was she placed into a medical facility before being booked into the jail ?

Last I saw she was in the clinic at first but they may have moved her by now. Imo she's detoxing or if she does truly have Endometriosis will they continue meds in jail? Narcotics?

Sometimes people can be all 'lovey-dovey' until there's trouble---- then one person will turn on the other.

As long as it helps locate Lucas or his remains-- that's fine with me !

She's being held in the jail clinic pod.

I'm thinking that EG is telling the truth about seeing Lucas prior to taking a shower. She most likely didn't mention if he was dead or alive. Maybe she had to shower after she disposed of his body.

This will probably sound stupid, but I don't care tonight. I'm so upset at yet another darling child that is missing, and we probably know the outcome, and at the hands of at another 'significant' other.. WHY THE HECK CAN'T THE CHILD BE THE SIGNFICANT?!?!? Ugh! Anyway, it's a darn shame that SHE is in the clinic when I haven't seen the first report of Lucas at a clinic, hospital, or doc's office. Darn shame!

Did either parent ever do an interview begging for Lucas to be found, returned etc? Not a written response, or FB posting, but a media interview begging for their child? If not, it maybe the first case I've ever seen that it didn't happen. If anyone else remembers a case that neither parent did a media interview begging for their child, please let me know. At this point, it's too late. Frankly probably was too late from the first we heard of Lucas, but if you're innocent of everything, you wouldn't know it was too late in the first hours, and days after he was missing.

The HLN segment just aired. There were a few photos of the inside of the home briefly aired. The kitchen and maybe the living room - there was a fireplace. Didn’t see any furniture or kitchen appliances. Maybe these photos were provided by someone else prior to move-in? Anywho, other than that it was a summary of what’s already been released. I’m guessing a link will be up later - I’ll keep an eye out for it.

I just don't see a logical incentive for her to come clean, I don't see her having sympathy for anyone but EG, so I can't see any point of appealing to that?

I hope you're right about that tactic being sufficient for her, but....that was probably used in the pre-arrest interviews and it's probably already failed.

If some of the mistreatment of Lucas is about punishing JH, and she has a history of these major primal blow outs followed by equally passionate make-up sessions....where she regains control and goes back into planning, manipulation and self-protection mode. Primal rage is the only thing I can see that can get her out of the latter state of mind? What incentive does she have to do anything for Lucas right now, anything for JH, anything for Lucas' other relatives? If she walks out of jail she has all of this to hold over him, she can't tell him, but she knows inside what she's done to him, and she gets to comfort him and to reiterate that it was "them", "we'll hate them together forever, we'll be closer forever because of this incident, you, me and our baby."

If he is not complicit in abuse, then if he's coming around to facing up to her about it and kicking her out over it, then maybe her getting out is the best option to set up a fight between them that will send her into 'primal rage' (I've made that up, I don't claim it to be a technical term.)

I hope they've got a good handle on her and can get something (by whatever method, I don't demand to be right, I'm just conjecturing in my head and typing out my thoughts) before someone posts bail.

I don't believe her mistreatment of Lucas is to punish dad. If that were the case, she would have been doing it in front of him, a way of taunting him so to speak or at the very least, not denying it.

IMO, It's likely a mixture of many factors, just one being stress that builds to rage which results in her taking out her rage on the children in her home by abusing them. She definitely lacks coping skills and an ability to control her anger.....when people aren't around. No one has come forward to give details of times they SAW stepmom abuse Lucas. Only the terrible visible marks after the fact or Lucas's heartbreaking accounts afterwards. She's careful to control what she does or says when other people are around, so I don't see her accidentally admitting to murdering someone during a heated argument.

I think playing off of the parts of her that are a human with at least some amount of regret and compassion would be something she would be receptive to.

Girlfriend has had 2 kids removed by the state, and the little girl with Dad. How many kids does Mom have? Was Lucas EVER #1 in any of their lives? I have no idea why this case is making me so angry. All the child cases have heartbreaking, and usually affect us all. But I'm feeling such anger that for the past two days I"ve had to leave this forum and go outside and do yardwork, in frigging Feb! Even tore about my vacuum cleaner and cleaned the darn vacuum cleaner! I don't want a timeout! I wish I didn't feel this anger.

All we have is the girlfriend's word that Lucas was last seen -- alive and well -- at their new home.
This would of course be after the neighbors saw him playing outside.

We still don't know if he is alive or not.

My .02 is that people (like Adrian Jone's 'dad' and 'stepmom') who kill their children ,or their partner's children ; shouldn't be given protective status in prison-- but placed in general pop. and let the inmates decide.

I'm getting a possible picture of the girlfriend who wanted it to just be herself, her kid, and JH -- NO ONE ELSE.
But--- If that's true-- why didn't she just let bio-mom have Lucas ?
Not to mention other relatives who would have been glad to care for him.

I did ask a professional about this. He said if they are detoxing they will go to hospital. If they are suicide risk, they could be in general pop, but with a different colored suit on. Just wanted to pass that along as I was very curious about where she was being detained.

News I hadn't seen....Nancy Grace. I did not listen to the recording portion, but in the written words it states EG waited hours to report him missing. This is the first we are hearing of this, right? She slept for hours, and found he was missing, but I didn't realize she waited to report it. There were only 3 hours between the start of her nap and when police were called. So did she actually only nap for an hour or so?
