To me as you watch him say this it seems like he’s trying to pull examples of tips off the top of his head as this statement was part of an answer to a question posed by a reporter.

Okay, so perhaps not as telling as we think it is, but rather an example (especially since little Lucas wasn't wearing his shoes, which according to our VI, he loves.)

It didn’t seem to be but I’ve learned from this site never to rule anything out. I’m hoping LE is playing their cards very close and has much more than would appear.

This is a remarkable comment. They must have found foot prints far enough apart to indicate the person was running. They didn't indicate size of footprint, or where they were found, although we could possibly assume one of the parks they listed at the top of the article (Dr. Glen Dey Park, Harrison Park, and Chisholm Creek Park). ALso, Lucas's footprints, or an adult? hmmmmm

So, WHO besides Lucas, would be running with no shoes on?

I agree. I believe that there is as much truth to this "nap time" story as there was to Sherin's milk story. So, no truth at all.

If this step mom is wondering why people may not find her account believable.... those of us who are parents know what it's like to take even a brief nap with young ones at home --- YOU DON'T.
Not unless my hubby was there could I take a nap with a 5 year old, much less a one year old !

I didn't realize until checking back here at WS that there was a 1 yr. old in the house with them. Did neighbors see her out and about looking for Lucas ?
It couldn't take that long to check if he was inside the house.
So, she was outside for a while looking for him, carrying a baby ?

Well, I guess that means it wasn't the other pre-k'ers beating and bruising this beautiful child.
