Pot smokers usually have a stash on hand at all times- other drugs maybe not so much-little here, little there-usually because they have to find the money or find the dealer that has it right when they want it-I’m of the thought that pot wasn’t what she was on when whatever happened to Lucas happened. Yes, she smoked that day, because it’s what she had available, but I’d bet pretty much anything she is a jonesing meth or heroin user- Actually, meth and heroin are cheaper on the streets than weed or pills-10$ on both of those drugs could keep you high for a bit of time.
Basically, judging by everything I have read about EG leads me to the thoughts that she’s not your everyday pothead. Yes, obviously she smokes it, but it’s deeper than that.

I keep getting the sense it's heroin. We have heard stories of her sleeping in the afternoon and that doesn't seem like meth to me. But heck! I have known people that would literally just do anything they could get their hands ons!

I am beyond buried or I’d contact them myself. Can anyone reach out to Ducks Unlimited? They have over 15,500 KS Chapter members and might be able to send an email blast to members which wouldn’t cost anything plus they have a FB page.

*I will not confirm or deny the fact that I am hiding in the bathroom so I don’t have to listen to the phone or get something for someone* haha!

We are of the same cloth! The bathroom = sanity

Yes meth and heroin are much cheaper nowadays than weed. Very available. There's always a lot of swapping of substances going on also. "Trading up" as some like to call it,

Has it been stated anywhere that EG was on public assistance?

Then why would she tell him she was smoking pot??? It doesn’t mesh
ETA- JMO she did go to OG
Maybe not *just* OG but she had the card, she had the munchies, go eat and also do whatever else in that time period

Maybe she hates the Olive Garden and used the certificate in exchange for something else? Heck, I've regifted some gift certificates to stores and restaurants that I don't care for or use.

Also, another thing to ponder. In her interview, she says she took the picture of the people standing outside to send to JH- “to be like what is going on”? Because I’m home alone. How and why would he know what is going on? He’s 12 hours away. But how she says it, makes me wonder why she would think he would even know? Or better yet, why she says exactly that. If they are “real “, did she do something to make someone want to find her? I doubt they are, but that sentence of hers really makes no sense. But if there were SOME truth to it, besides time and day, what would it be? Is it relative?

If she had $15 on a gift card that would buy 1g of marijuana, maybe 1.5g if she was very lucky. That's not going to last long. Wasn't she seen at OG anyway?

Might not have been pot. She could have had other things to add to the exchange also.
I haven't seen where she was actually seen at OG, but that her phone pinged nearby.

I have wondered if she exchanged her gift card for drugs.
I have known of people, with children (or not) to use their food stamps in exchange for drugs.

I've wondered if she paid another way. If you know what I mean. Just my opinion

Agree- a lot of heroin users also use meth to be “up” they both work on the same neurotransmitter of the brain so both effective, as are painmeds-oxy,lortab etc. MOO

I have wondered if she was expecting a drug dealer that someone else was sending over.

That I agree with. Totally strange. My hubby travels quite a bit for work, and I might say something is weird , or that I don’t know what these people are doing, but I’m not asking him what’s going on.
If there’s a strange car in the alley, for example, I’ll say I’m keeping an eye on the car just in case. Kind of give him a heads up if it is hinky - But I’m actually more likely to text my cousin the sheriff deputy with ‘does this look legit? Should I worry? Should I call someone?’ instead tbh

True but why even mention going to JH? Could as easily said ‘I’m gonna go smoke then find some food’ it’s just so weird

AH! Didn't she state in court papers that she hadn't been able to keep up with her child support in part due to health issues?

I knew a meth addict that slept in the middle of the day. She would often stay up all night, sometimes 2 nights in a row. Then would sleep in the middle of the day, sometimes all day.

She did- she said she’s unable to work, and JH income doesn’t cover the full amount all the time if memory serves

'To make him think she took the kids out for supper with him? Remember, he had no way of knowing that Lucas wasn't with her and lil sis.

Exactly. Do you remember the fight between JH and her that resulted in the DV report by police(one of them) it stemmed from her telling him she was sexually assaulted by her male friend? I’m wondering if that wasn’t a “get high” together encounter and the male expected more? I will never accuse a victim of sexual assault as it being their fault (it is a terrible crime against a person),but it makes me wonder if that isn’t what happened- I hate even saying it if she was a victim of that, but it has been in the forefront of my mind with drugs being so involved
