I just pray the judge keeps her locked up. The more I read about stepmothers who kill the more she fits. I what kind of life did she have as. A child anyone know? I know there are evil people in this world, I’ve seen and felt them. But what kind of upbringing did she have? Brothers and sisters. Does anyone live close? 4 kids by 27 is a lot even for a well adjusted older mother to care for. Add the temper and LUCAS’ disability and that could be lethal. I understand it better now but someone close to her really had to know.

I've listened now to what NG had to say about Cook, so here's a rundown for those not familiar with the name.

Cook is an 'acquaintance' of JO, according to the NG podcast he's also a friend of JO's estranged husband. (to clarify, that is not JH who's the estranged husband)

Cook made some claims that he believed JO might have wanted Lucas abducted to save him from abuse.

NG agrees with what I think, that Cook is a bit biased and that LE have evidence as to where JO was in the relevant timeframe, so Cook's theories come over a bit malicious?

I'm pretty sure LE can investigate more than one lead at a time and that they would not only have checked JO's whereabouts but maybe also check her communications and things in that timeframe to see if LE think that might be a viable option.

ETA Mark Klaas has said on there re. the theory of JO abducting Lucas, that while it's worth investigating, and it's tempting to want it to be true because then Lucas would be alive and safe, in his opinion in this case it is "wishful thinking".

I've been saying this for a long time..plus add the postpartum. Her jealousy of Lucas made her loath him. That poor baby was probably afraid to do anything. She probably snapped and would go into rages so easily. I feel so bad for that child. He walked on eggshells...

our VI said JOs alibi checked out. And after watching her interview several weeks ago, I could measure the pain she was suffering at the time. She was emotional and obviously had taken something for nerves. Losing a special child such as LUCAS was has to be the worst pain a mother can feel. He certainly was excited, joyful and happy on the video on .

No, it's not the same person. Cook is a male, initials RC. The JC involved in the is a female who, according to our VI, did not know EG or JH or anyone else in the family before Lucas' disappearance.

She had violent outburts and run ins with the law WAY before she even got pregnant with her daughter. She didn't have custody of her sons because of her violence and drug use. No, postpartum depression would just be a sympathy card for her. She is just evil.

I agree. She is evil but I think she has many problems a whole melting pot is going on in that twisted soul of hers. I give her no excuse for what she has done. I hope she pays dearly in this world and the next.

So I am thinking the VD and LL info are things that have caught her in lies. While LL seeing Lucas makes sense for her to be angry and hurt our little man. My mind keeps swaying to that info coming out later and her being caught in lie. Him going missing within 24 hrs surely would make her guilt stand out if she knew. Unless she actually believes waiting the 24 hrs makes it look like seperate incidents. If this last bit is true then I have confidence he will be found.
I mentioned on a previous thread about JO and JH showing a united front and what that might do to her twisted mind. Jealously etc. It’s sad that the further along this goes the possibility of that dwindles. I really feel if they were united she would have a slip of tongue with rage.

I wonder if EGs attorney has thought about getting her psychiatric help. I think a judge could order it but there’s always a danger of being diagnosed properly. I think at this point it’s going to take a professional experienced with these types of mental issues to get the truth. Or perhaps a LEO trained in questioning women who harm children. She’s tough.

I would guess the FBI had at least one contact with her.

And shes ruined so many lives.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I can't remember if they brought in cadaver dogs, hence me asking about it last night.

German trained cadaver dogs are chosen very carefully and only the top 3-5 graduate for further training. They are highly trained and extremely expensive. Their success rates are in the 98-100% correct area. They are not wrong often. I’ll see if I can find a link that I read when they were searching for a child in Alaska.

I remember what you are referring to about Cook and it got spread like wildfire due to one of the FB groups which imo is to blame for how much JO has been bashed.
