I am not surprised by the verdict, the defense had some pretty good ideas to create reasonable doubt. I can see how with no proof of drugs in EG's system and no drug paraphernalia around the house what was the jury to think. Just because EG confessed there was no other proof. all jmo imo

idk. I would think they would have to charge her. There was a lot in that report tho so I don't think they'll just hand her over to EG. Plus if she goes back to JH, he has child abuse charges against him and the state didn't find him a suitable parent at this time either.

Ohhh, true! The other judge said that if she did drugs again, it would be seen as her decision not to parent. So she's done with her boys, thank God. Hopefully that can be used to keep MH away, too!

Why didn't they just test her... (Not asking - I'm just wishing)

This line of reasoning leads LE simply playing into defending themselves against EG's mediocre defense (recall, she had to resort to emotional theatrics to convince the jury of anything she was proposing).

Oh the tests could mean anything...

Why would LE test a pregnant SAHM with ENDO at her most vulnerable moment, calling 911 over kidnapped beloved son!

<modsnip>

Etc, etc... into the abyss.

Do you see the very baseline of the attorneys sidestepping?

They did fine here, nobody gave the circus time of day & EG essentially admitted & reinforced her own idiotic excuse, sowing the seeds of doubt for her own undoing...

The outcome of this specific trial was never about 'justice for Lucas' though many know exactly what's up & cannot imagine this demon savoring another moment of freedom or respect to abuse again.

The good thing about Emily's charge was it got MH out of her custody and into a safe home, so even though she was not found guilty, the charge did serve a purpose. (am sure ESO will be on later and elaborate but I wanted to make sure to point out the silver lining that still exsists because of the arrest.

I’m hoping her feet barely hit the sidewalk outside the jail before they drag her back to booking on another charge!

I'm hoping LE now slap her with child endangerment charges over leaving Lucas alone. They have a witness who stated they talked to Lucas when he was alone on the Friday night, so maybe they will release her, then re-arrest her when she steps outside.

Hold on a moment- because the police didn't have her tested, there is NO proof that she did drugs or MJ. So now, she just may get visitation rights back with her sons. Why oh why didn't they have her tested to at least keep her older boys safe?

I’m assuming the landlord is a bit in the know of things since it’s his property. Do we know if he’s still renting it to them? Or has he terminate their lease due to police disturbances and potential criminal activity? I’m not sure on renters rights in the area, but I hope she finds herself on her own. Back to garbage bag girl.

There isn't a chance that her ex is going to allow her to be around the boys!

But with that stipulation, couldn't the ex ask them to test her to prove it? Or could her confession be enough? I think the point of not being able to prove it for the CE case was they couldn't prove that she was affected by marijuana at the time she drove. I don't think there's any doubt she did use it. I mean, she gave the name of her dealer!

She allowed her sons to be in a hostile environment and one of them was smacked. She left a five year old alone and now he's missing and she is the only POI in his being gone and he is presumed deceased and while under her care. I think (hope) the judge(s) will be very very cautious before allowing any alone time with any of her children. I'm not sure what will happen with the child she is carrying but I think nothing will unless she is charged for something else.

He'll fight like the dickens to keep his sons safe.

In a way,I would hope EG gets a small taste of freedom. There has to be a reason why every tv drama has at least one episode where" the killer returns to the scene of the crime". Don't you think she is the tiniest bit curious to make sure that no one ever finds Lucas?? She is going to be very confident after this trial. Praying she leads us right to our beloved boy!!

I don't think the ll could kick them out for those reasons. A child is missing and that would create a lot of police activity. I don't know if their rental agreement was month to month or a term lease. If month to month either party can give a 30 day notice.

jesus pregnant.

I followed avidly at the beginning and couldn't keep up. I cant believe shes out and he still isn't found. makes me sad the "active search" is gone off his thread.

What choice does he have, Blef?

We're here because many family members of Lucas, including a member of EG's own family, reported and documented the abuse he was suffering under day after day, and look what happened? He's now been missing for three months, and she's getting out of jail today, a free woman now, even after confessing she smoked MJ before going out to eat at OG with her daughter.

They had no recourse legally, what makes you think he will?

We were told to not speak about search here and frankly feel this is extremely important to honor.

No one gave up or quit on Lucas. LE has a LOT more info because of this last 3 months of effort.
