Think it depends on which channel you watch - on the live broadcast this morning several times it was said that EG was living in the home since her release and that JH returned home. One channel did say that JH was staying with JO and that EG was living in the house and JH had been coming and going. So I really have no clue - they said close family sources was were they got the info.

I hope Eberhardt wasn't one of those sources.

I think it's just weird that JH would go to that house with her there if he even knew she was there. I guess it's possible he came home late that night not knowing she was there and she killed herself there intending for him to find her. But even IF she called him to lure him out there it just seems like a beyond poor decision to go meet up with the woman you know mostly likely killed your son in the middle of the night. I'd like to think he'd be making better choices by now than that.

That said. Wow. I did not see that coming. I never see anything coming though. I know some people in jail currently on 2 million dollars bond who were in no way a physical threat to anyone. (Not defending what they did). But her super low bond while she was in jail and then being released after helping find the body just struck me as BEYOND nuts. I have never seen anyone in such a high profile case, almost certainly guilty of murder sent home while those in charge got around to getting their ducks in a row. She spent months in jail over possible endangerment. Even though I always assumed it was just an excuse to hold her while they looked for Lucas. And then she helps a PI find poor Lucas' body and she is released??

I'm just gobsmacked at all of this...........

I have no clue who the sources were - they did say several times that EG dad was at the scene and that broke my heart that this man was standing across the street watching as his daughter was lying dead inside the house.

BBM. He has a track record of making poor decisions. If she called him and sounded suicidal he should have called LE instead of going there alone. But he has a track record of making poor decisions, so I can't rule it out.

I've been following since the Chisholm Park search. He doesnt understand why I follow cases, so I dont share the details with him often.

I was SO frustrated today, I gave him a birds eye view of events, and that was HIS take.

I don't know what the heck I think right now. But he was confident in his statement, and I found that fascinating.

If JH & JO were on good terms and maybe even staying at the same place maybe that was EG’s way of getting back at him. FWIW - I think EG played JH’s heartstrings like a fiddle.

I wanted her behind bars to think about this every day. Suicide in criminal cases get me angry. EG chose the easy route for herself since a future prison bed does not welcome crimes against children. She is a coward, JMO

Everyday EG free was a risk she'd take easy route! No answers, and heart breaking for justice for Lucas.

We are in desperate need for LE to provide the public a good update with some real information this time. Its time for them to at least provide some substance in their next update.

Ive mentioned in other cases that there is real harm that sometimes occurs when LE keeps hiding behind the antiquated strategy of "keeping everything close to the vest".
Its an outdated strategy in the days of immediate news via the internet. It allows rumors to fester and real people can get hurt sometimes.

Of course we dont need anything that will jeapordize a case but we have to have some real and truthful basic facts. Please.

If she wrote them, I hope it's to her three children. I hope she apologizes for departing the earth on her own, just briefly, though- she doesn't need to explain- 1/2 of the world will be willing to tell them, and not so nicely.

I hope that she told each child that they were special to her, that she loved them, discussed memories of them that made her happy and proud. Even silly stuff, like how they loved making mud pies. I hope she wishes them a happy, healthy, and bright future, that they deserve it. I hope she tells them that she loves them to the moon and back. For them, not for anybody else, but them. They deserve some kind of love and happy thoughts. They've already been through enough in their young lives, especially the last 3 and a half months.

I won't judge the ex if he doesn't, but I do hope one day, he lets the boys have a relationship with their little sister, providing she's not adopted out. The three of them have need some healing dow the road of their own. Their little sister won't remember anything, all she'll have is pictures to look at of her mother and plenty of news articles telling her why she no longer has her half brother Lucas, why she doesn't see her older half brothers as much or if at all. Thank goodness the boys have each other.

I could see JH hanging out at either girls places depending what mood he's in.I don't think he ever quit EG completely.I mean she led DM to LH but I figure JH knew long before then EG was responsible for LH death.

I completely agree. We had a case in New England where the LE were very forthcoming with every bit of information and it was almost the same feeling - a community coming together to uncover the truth and find the facts to make sure there was a conviction. I understand, like you say, sometimes you need to keep little things here and there to hopefully not discourage a confession, etc... but not everything.

I have the up most respect for all Le, but it seems they were not keeping close tabs on EG. Many people mentioned this could happen. LE had to know there was a possibility of eg committing suicide. EG is now dead. Im still having a hard time understanding how this happened. I can't imagine how JO and family feel.
