Can't believe it. This is all they found out?! Nothing?

Allred said he never would have guessed that Lucas would be where he was found. Bennett says the location seems to be random, she had no known connection to that area.

She did have connections to the Augusta area, though. But there was no GPS indicator she went to Harvey County.

Allred said he believes someone killed Lucas, either accidentally or intentionally, and that Glass had that information.

There were investigators who lost sleep over the case. Police hope a case like this does not happen again, Allred said.

FBI told police that bodies typically aren't too far off the roadway in cases like these

Man, Allred did NOT want to discuss Marshburn

Police do not know why Glass led a private investigator to the body. The DA said police had to let her go when she cut off the interviews — the private investigator did not.

The DA says there was an average of 25 child in need of care cases filed per week earlier this year.

Call authorities if you have child abuse concerns, the DA says. You can't be charged unless if you lie to the authorities, he said.

They said they interviewed the school and nurses but never said anything about the possibility that dr's notes were forged. Do you think we'll ever get more info on that?

I didn’t hear any mention of cadaver dogs in the summary. That simple obvious step would have answered so much from the beginning.

Except this is the area we were looking in. They had the same information we had and they knew the same statistics we knew, so I am a little perplexed by this statement.

I wish he would have addressed why Marshburn said he had GPS data that Emily drove out north on Woodlawn (he called it another street in error), turned left onto 96, stopped a few (2 I think?) minutes and then south Oliver.

I know you were deeply involved in this case, what are your thoughts on that presser?

That’s what I was waiting to hear them talk about. They never talked about it.

I don't know. I think he gave Wichita some of the answers they want but I still have more questions as I am sure we all do. I think I am too close to this case to be 100% objective as to whether this presser was enough.
