Sounds like he was shooting while driving at a couple of places before arriving at Excel.

An article I read earlier they said this is a gun free zone.

Yeah, like Umpqua Community College was reported to be a gun free zone. Then it turned out it was actually a CCW zone and multiple people were concealed carrying. None of them could do anything to stop the attack. Their only concern was getting as far away from the gunman as possible, so the cops wouldn’t think they were part of it.

There are no gun free zones anywhere in America, except behind the TSA lines at airports and a few government buildings, not schools. The politicians only care about protecting themselves from the gun nuts, they empower. They don’t care what happens to school kids.

Report of stolen vehicle. shooter took stolen vehicle. went to exon. person shot total of 15 people . 4 killed including shooter. gunfire exchanged between shooter and LE. LE shot shooter.

Walton said in an earlier press conference there were "four to five" diferent crime scenes in the area.
He reported two other shootings nearby and one shooting in the plant parking lot before the shooting inside the Excel building.

I just want to say that this community is a big Mennonite community. A lot are employed at that plant. This is a peaceful place, normally.

Exactly. This criminal knew that no one would be shooting back. Same with all these shootings - people who will not be protecting themselves.
