I don't know if she had an affair or not, But to me.. him saying that he did not know of one of them until after the divorce papers were served, would spark that attack on her and murder to me. It would give him motive. I don't think this guy is doing himself any favors. I think the prosecutors are going to tear him up.

Good Morning! I thought I was getting up early enough, but calculated wrong. So glad you all took some notes. Thanks, and thanks for the crepes. I guess they're taking a recess break because all I have are color bands and no sound. What's going on?

I don't really care how arrogant he was because I have known a lot of arrogant SOB's that did not kill their wives.. Or even hurt them..

But, What I see in this guy is the same thing I see in the 3 Peterson convicts, In men that have committed the murders of their wives and thought they could talk themselves right through it.

That " Hey, Don't you know who I am? " Thing...

I think that comes across when he says, If I had done this I would have done it better...

WHO SAYS THAT??

So true. Arrogance alone does not make a killer. I see arrogance with some narcissistic psychopathology. I'll even throw in some pure evil. LOL

For pity sake.. still no sound?? Where did they go to the park to party?

I know he's saying that he threatened her with the supposed affairs, pictures and not seeing her kids again so he could convince the jury that she had motive to commit suicide. But it's a double edged sword because at the same time, it makes him look like a total jerk.

I feel like he made it sound like Vashti is the one that wanted to the divorce and he wanted to work things out. If he wanted to work things out, why would he threaten her? if she didn't want any of the supposed allegations of affairs to come out and to lose her kids, she could have just stayed since he said she was so "back and forth" about it.

From my personal prospective of someone who has dealt with suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide many times throughout my teens and adult years, I know that when you want to commit suicide, you usually feel like there's no other way for you out and most of the anger is directed toward yourself. Committing suicide will inevitably cause pain to your loved ones, and therefore you leave a suicide note letting them know that you love them. Wouldn't she be causing more pain to her kids if she burnt the house down and all their memories of their mom, and all their belongings? I don't know. I can't see her burning the house down.

Even though she supposedly called her husband, but all of us who have been moms know that you want to keep your kids as far away from danger as possible. Even if she called Brett, she couldn't be 100% that he took the kids out of the house.

Rant over!

Do you know when will the trial resume?

YES. That Borderline personality thing.. How much is this guy like JA?? The way he is testifying. The extra details.. the come on like me while I trash my wife thing..

The sad voice when he says it was his fault that she died because he should have saved her..

Looking at exhibit...

" The divorce documents.. "

The papers were signed by a judge, And bears a files stamp showing when it was filed. April 14 2011.

This is the parenting plan as part of the documents.

QQQ is this exhibit. Parenting plan dated april 14 2011

first page makes provision for legal custody of children.

" Parties shall have joint custody of both children. "

She was not going to take his boys away from him...

Whenever you file for divorce, you put in your "dream" situation regarding custody. It's not a legal order until after it's hashed out in court. This is dumb.

Maybe it's different in other states?

Going over custody agreement, Visitation and such. Sounds pretty equal and fair.

Parenting plan:

BS would have the kids 2 evenings a week from after daycare until 8 p.m.
He would also have them every second weekend. Friday at 4 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.
Also provided for holiday time.
If there was a dispute the parties would attempt mediation prior to filing motions in court.

Sounds like your standard visitation schedule to me.

Was the parenting plan a court order? I thought he killed her right after she filed.

Back to the 29th... This is like tourettes questioning....

" Basically more of the same, when we were out on the porch she was talking more openly, she was leaning more toward the 3-6 month waiting time to work on marriage.. "

" I don't think on the porch no, she had looped around and was talking about staying together.. I was not thinking about how to leverage her or threaten her at that point..

" Finances were an issue, I was going to go in and work on budget, see if I could work on her expenses, see if I could redistribute my pay check to help aleviate her issues..
I went into dining room to sit and work at it.. "

Sounds like the usual type parenting plan custody orders with regular type visitation. People can get ugly during that particular time though. Apparently, he got ugly.

Oh, now he is bringing up the money and budgets.
