Louisville couple charged after 3-year-old burned in hot water, police say

Louisville Metro Police were notified after a 3-year-old was taken to Norton Children's Hospital with severe burns to his hands and forearms Sunday.

Snead and Breanna Lair, the child's mother, are in a relationship. Lair told police she left the child alone with Snead for around an hour on April 6. According to court documents, Lair had been ordered not to do so by Child Protective Services due to an ongoing criminal abuse investigation involving Sneed and the child.

Sneed and Lair both pleaded not guilty in arraignment court Tuesday morning. Sneed's cash bond was set at $15,000, while Lair's cash bond was set at $10,000.

Just dammit. Hoping the child's hands will be okay.
I don't use FB, so I probably missed some horrible details.
What other horror(s) was/were done to this 3-year-old? It sounds like other mistreatment has happened to this little person. Lock 'em up.
