We really have very little information, don't we? Somehow, they know enough to say that they don't expect foul play.

Oh yeah, I owe you a coke. :)

Thank you! Actually your post was first so I owe you that coke

Mom made the missing persons report.
The ex said she walked away.
And a little girl is waiting for her mommy to return.

Got it. I think. (Having trouble here linking that article from post #31)

Thank you for the map. I see a possibility of vehicular homicide.

Rest peacefully, Amanda. Prayers for the family. :(

ETA: Cancel that! Just listened to the video report that her body was found on a farm.

Just making note of a few details from these articles.
Body found. Family notified. Autopsy results tomorrow (Friday).

Search for Amanda Bailey called off as crews find body in Madison County
"Bailey's family was notified, but the coroner's office cannot make an identification at this point because of weather conditions.

The body was found two miles from where crews were searching Wednesday around Lake Reba. Crews returned to the area Thursday morning to continue the search, but they received a call from a nearby property owner about the discovery.

Medical examiners will perform an autopsy in Frankfort at 8 a.m. Friday."
"Officials tell LEX 18 a body was found Thursday on Concord Road off HWY 52 in Richmond.

Family says 26-year-old Amanda Bailey was in the area Monday to talk with her ex-boyfriend. Her mother said the man told her Bailey walked off and no one has seen her since."

It will be interesting to see how this case plays out.

My bet on the cause of death would be Hypothermia. I don't think foul play will be a factor.

I was just about to edit my post. When I considered vehicular homicide, I was looking at the map in post #51 and didn't know her body had been found on a farm. Spoke too soon. Either way, it is just so sad. A little 4-year-old girl is now without her mama. :(

This is awful.

Rest in Peace Amanda.

Had they conducted a better search than “kinda make a search”, wonder if this may have had a better ending?
Sadly, we will never know.

This is her hometown paper, nothing new.
Wonder why her bf didn’t go after her?
IMO, it’s pretty severe when the news is advising to wear glasses & avoid talking & breathing, if outside. (Yes, breathing!). Jmo obviously we have no details but it seems she was upset & not thinking clearly, to take off walking in negative windchill temps. Too sad.

ETA: Monday, the temps were not negative. Sorry. Makes me think she was more at risk as she likely had only a light jacket. Moo
