KY KY - Andrea Knabel, 36, mother of two, Audubon Park, Louisville, 13 Aug 2019 #2

Yeah, usually things sort of build up over time and it sounds like a pretty tense situation.
So technically, Sarah and her husband Ethan were the last ones to see her? Like she came back to that house at around 6:30am and something happened? Hmm.
Ethan and Sarah were not married but they were engaged and had been together for many years.

Is there any chance she was already on a downward spiral and that this situation was her “last straw” and that she’s somewhere maybe out of state and maybe out of her mind? For lack or better wording. There are a couple cases on here where very upset people go missing and I pray they just left their loved ones in the dust due to extremely disloyal and disrespectful circumstances and they’re off making a new chosen family under the radar. One can hope. Moo
IMO this is the case. Maybe she is not in the best place or not happy, but I think she doesn't want to go back.

What makes you think that though ?

So there were no cameras at her mothers house or any of the neighbors.

No one heard Andrea come back at 1:38am and attempt to get in the house.

I don’t imagine Andrea quietly knocking at the door. No dogs barking at loud raised voices. No repeated bangs on the door demanding to be let in.

Nothing happened when she returned from Erin’s house - after what appears to be a emotional family ultimatum to no longer let Andrea live at her mothers house.

Ethan said they were scared to let her in.

I can’t provide a link so I can’t say. Ethan did tell Tracey Leonard that they were scared let her in , allegedly he also said they didn’t hear her too .

they know that Andrea made it back . The detective stated this publicly I believe on investigative discovery . I’ll try to find the link. It wasn’t just her phone that ended up there .

Investigation Discovery

it’s the Ivestigative Discovery where the detective speaks as well.

Yes Sarah and Ethan were living there renovating . Her mom didn’t live there at that time , and her parents are divorced so the dad lived somewhere else .
That’s the thing her phone shows her going right back to the moms house it’s active there I do have a link for that if I need it. And then at 6:31 it’s shut off and never turned on again never left the mom‘s according to her phone GPS I mean it’s never been touched again it’s just vanished along with Andrea.

I’m speculating here because I do not have a link but there was a lot of tension in the house and it didn’t just start that night it had been going on for a couple weeks.

Two different versions as usual from her sister. First, that Andrea was upset because family was on top of her to go to mental health. Second, about two months ago, mom, Sarah and Andrea had an argument about evict Andrea.

I think probably all of that stuff really was happening, but I do not I think that the fight between her and Sarah had anything to to do with those two particular things that night

Clearly we can speculate that the mother was OK with them changing the locks because it was her house right? Clearly they wanted her not there because they locked her out. There is always other stuff going on though that nobody wants to talk about obviously. When I say nobody wants to talk about I’m referring to Erin and the detective who in I opinion did not do anything nearly enough in the beginning whatsoever. Also - 4 full days before police stepped foot in that house .

Was disappearing for 3-5 days something that Andrea had done previously so no one was concerned?

The second version was explained about 2 months ago.

Not that im aware of. Erin called the police on the 4th day . So after 3 days she knew something was wrong.

And there may be some truth to that , but the fight that night was only Sarah and Andrea,

I think its safe to speculate that Sarah wouldnt be too happy that Ethan took Andrea to eat, and the hospital after they got in a "heated" fight. I know i probably wouldnt be happy about that .

Andrea Michelle Knabel, a mother from Louisville, Kentucky, who dedicated her time volunteering for an organization that searches for missing people, has vanished. The 37-year-old was last seen around 1 a.m. on August 13, 2019, walking in the area of the 4000 block of Fincastle Road near her home in Louisville’s Audubon Park. Andrea had been volunteering for the group “Missing in America,” an organization unaffiliated with Dateline’s digital series, which has a mission to locate missing adults and children. Louisville Metro Police said Andrea made some phone calls asking for a ride between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., in the area where she was last seen. Her cell phone has not been active since then. The organization said Andrea is the first member of their group to have gone missing. Andrea is described as 5’ 7” tall, approximately 190 pounds, with light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a light-colored tank top and white shorts. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact investigator Tracy Leonard at (502) 618-9337, investigator Dan Washington at (502) 722-8181, Missing Person Recovery Specialist Nancy Schaefer Smith at (502) 500-3026 or the Louisville Metro Police Department at (502) 574-LMPD.
