Thanks. I had read the article but didn't lessen to the audio. This is purely a guess. Once Walker was indicted, his attorney was given the court recording & he made it public.

I’m not sure when Walker’s attorney received the audio.
I know he made it public when he attached it to the motion to dismiss and it was dismissed several days later.

Well since Mattingly can file suit for being called a killer that should help Walker for being accused of purposely shooting at cops he didn't know were cops

Walker has already filed a lawsuit. I don't know how this would help his case.

The officer is being called a murderer not a killer. There is a difference. He did kill Breonna but he did not murder her. What is Walker suing for and does anyone have a link for that one?

So does that mean 5 shots? Reports have claimed 6-8.
I guess the shot in her foot doesn't count but I don't really know why. Not sure what lodged in her foot means.

It’s sad that BT lost her life, and I have no problem with no knock warrants being banned, even though these officers DID knock. I believe they did the right thing by charging Hankison.
I just do not see how anyone can blame the other officers who served the warrant. Without be accused of victim blaming I will just say they had reason to be there.

Someone upthread asked about KW's position in relation to BT when the shooting started. Here is the audio I was referring to. KW says he was next to BTin the hallway & dropped down when the police returned fire. He describes the room across from her bedroom & suggests he was partly in that room. I would suggest listening beginning at 13:00 if you are short on time.

Interestingly, he does say after his shot and after the police returned fire, he started to realize it was the police. He says he heard all kinds of shouting & realized it was police. He said for that reason he kicked his gun slightly under the bed. This part starts around 17:00

And Mattingly's account of the positioning of KW and BT in the audio of his interview. I'm not sure how significant it is, but people were asking so I wanted to site my sources.

Fired LMPD detective told to ‘relax’ before raid on Breonna Taylor’s home, colleague says

After he entered the apartment, Mattingly said he stepped out from the doorway and then saw a man and a woman "perpendicular to each other, side by side shoulder to shoulder." Neither said a word, he said.

"My brain was going: What is this, you know? This isn't normal. It's not the normal way people stand in a house together," he said. The man, Walker, was in a "shooting stance," he said.

Can Grand Jury Testimony be released? Here is some info I found...

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAIegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw1iNgUQR_sNiTGObGXgXVPs

The U.S. Constitution requires that any prosecution of a serious federal crime be initiated by “a
presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury.” The “[g]rand [j]ury” contemplated by the Constitution is a
temporary, citizen-comprised body that obtains evidence and considers whether it is sufficient to justify
criminal charges in a particular case. Though a grand jury works with federal prosecutors and functions
under judicial auspices, it is considered an independent “constitutional fixture in its own right” that
“belongs to no branch of the institutional Government, serving as a kind of buffer . . . between the
Government and the people.” One long-established principle that has been deemed essential to the grand
jury’s functioning and independence is that matters occurring before it are to be kept secret. Secrecy
prevents those under scrutiny from fleeing or importuning the grand jurors, encourages full disclosure by
witnesses, and protects the innocent from unwarranted prosecution. For these and other reasons,
prosecutors, the jurors themselves, and most others involved in grand jury proceedings are generally
prohibited from revealing “such matters as the identities or addresses of witnesses or jurors, the substance
of testimony, the strategy or direction of the investigation, the deliberations or questions of jurors, and the
like.” The prohibition endures even after a grand jury’s work is completed.

Each state may have their own rules. The AG claims transcripts can't be released because there are ongoing investigations. I would need expert legal input to verify this. I see some validity in this opinion because the Governor has called for release of the information he can release. I think that would lead to claims the AG is only releasing what he wants and I believe it would be more harmful than beneficial. jmo
