It's central Kentucky... Where the ladies have gun-racks on their vehicles. And probably a gun in their purse. Guys having a gun in their truck? More likely than not. Especially if it's anywhere near hunting season.

(Sorry to Grayson Countians if that's offensive. Friend of mine lived there for a while...)

The latest guns that were stolen along with the pickup were in Georgia, not far from Atlanta. I don't think they have been in Kentucky for a few days now.

I don't think they have been there for at least a week.

BBM: The owner of the truck stolen in Georgia told police he kept a Glock semi-automatic handgun and a .38-caliber revolver inside the vehicle. They were reported stolen along with the truck.

I'm glad he reported the guns stolen as well.

hmmmm....... So two stolen trucks, writing stolen checks, causing thousands of dollars worth of dameges to a farm and now with two stolen guns.

You left out the statutory rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor..........

So now that the owner reported the guns stolen, does that mean that is an additional charge?

Sure it does......it also changes the dynamics and protocol should an officer come across them......they are now considered armed and dangerous. I don't know how this kid lucked out and managed to steal vehicles with guns hidden in them.

All of this attention in the press is good for us...........not so good for them.........gonna be a whole lot more people looking for them the more this story spreads.

TEEN BONNIE & CLYDE
Suspects 18 and 13 wanted in Southeast crime spree

Also did not care for the title Fox is using--- actions like this do not need to be 'romanticised'. Imo. A long while back, I read an account of the actions of the real Bonnie & Clyde---and was appalled by their behavior; including the gunning down of an innocent store owner and leaving his wife and child destitute.

That (bolded) part bothers me ; she is probably not all that innocent; and may have indeed lied to D. Hayes.
Her photos look like an older teen.
Sorry so pessimistic.
Off-topic -- but when I was 13---I wasn't allowed a speck of makeup. Times have changed !

Hope they are caught SOON and NO ONE is hurt !!!!!!!

:moo:

I am the mother of an almost 13 year old girl who is tiny like this gal is. There is noway she could pull of being 19 years old.

They'll have these two before the weekend is out...........the noose is tightening.

The 13 year old needs to go to Juvi and the 18 year old needs to go to prison, and I'd imagine he'd have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

The teens, dubbed a teen ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ by the media, haven’t been dating long, their parents said. But they disappeared almost two weeks ago, and police said they stole vehicles to make their escape.

But what has alarmed authorities is that the teens appeared to have ditched one stolen vehicle for another — this one with .45-caliber handgun, a .38 special handgun sitting in the backseat, and ammunition.

Chaffins said he believes they are now potentially a danger to others.

“I do believe them to be a danger now because the vehicle they stole has weapons in it,” Chaffins said.

They were last spotted somewhere in Florida on Friday, though Chaffins said he did not want to tip them off by disclosing the specific town. Florida authorities are in the process of searching for them, Chaffins said.

Martin said the two had been dating for three months and that she was close to Cheyenne, who she believed was 19, according to WHAS. It is unclear whether Cheyenne’s parents knew that Hayes was 18 years old.

Martin returned home the following day, Jan. 4, after hearing Cheyenne had been reported missing, but they were already gone.

Two days later, Hayes texted his mother: “It says ‘Mommy, don’t worry. I’m fine, okay — plenty of money and food. Love you, good night, sweet dreams,’” she told reporters.

Police believe that, for a while at least, the couple bounced around between friends and family then stayed in abandoned homes and trailers in Kentucky. But on Jan. 11, things took a turn to the criminal.

The 18 year old had a court date on January 5th for theft and burglary charges. That carried a 1-5 year prison sentence.

From your link:

"Cheyenne’s father, who reported her missing, said that when his daughter left the house on Jan. 3, it seemed that nothing was amiss. That night, she stayed at Hayes’s home, his mother, Tammy Martin, told ABC affiliate WHAS. Martin said the two had been dating for three months and that she was close to Cheyenne, who she believed was 19, according to WHAS. It is unclear whether Cheyenne’s parents knew that Hayes was 18 years old."

This seems to answer a couple of questions I've had. Since the earlier msm articles say Cheyenne's mother lost custody of her 10 years ago, I wasn't sure where she was living or with whom. It appears she was living with dad all this time. The other curious thing is, Hayes' mom thought Cheyenne was 19? REALLY? With the right amount of make-up a lot of 13 year olds can look older in pics, but this girl does not look 19 nor does she likely act like a 19 yr old. Nope, not buying it. Not for a minute, in fact. I have 6 daughters and they all have friends and there isn't a ONE of them that could have pulled off "19" at 13.
