You know what I'm really curious about ? How is it that people stay up until 2 or 3 A.M. discussing these cases ? If I don't get to bed by 10:30 or 11:00, I'm not worth a S__t the next day. Is it insomnia, or do people just not have jobs to worry about ?

Well, you were actually wrong (which is out of the ordinary for you) about me posting my info "last night." I had gone to bed very early and was UP for the day at 2:30am that morning.
I have recently had to put my beloved eight year old furbaby down as she couldn't hardly breathe and I can't seem to get over it. I am having a lot trouble sleeping, eating and living.

Another thing you have to remember is all the different time zones. EST will be 2:30am and 3am for me, but for example someone in Az. it would be 11:30pm and midnight.

Look forward to more of your posts!

Maybe I guessed it right in my first post after all. But why leave everything in the car? Why leave the car unlocked ? Why would she have been way over on the opposite side of town, heading away ?

How would she have contacted her "ride" when the tire went flat without there being a record of it ?

I still think there are two people involved in this. One driving her car, one following behind.

She reminds me of someone I know. A really good tenderhearted person that attracts the bum magnets. Easy to walk over and easy for the bad ones to groom into thinking she has found prince charming. Until their true colors come out. jmo

I think you are right about that and it's a real shame if it turns out she loved the person who ended her life. I hope answers come soon. From the looks of the new news, it might be sooner than later which is a little relief.

I'm not sure what to think. Is it a love triangle or a brother helping a brother? I don't know, but I do think that a cruiser pulling up behind a car on the side of the road wouldn't look out of the ordinary. Of course, I don't know that's what happened, but just wondering aloud as we await more news.
JMO.

True. The cruiser could have been used for the vehicle to dispose of her body.

Edited because I think I got some stuff wrong.

BPD connection to Rogers investigation questioned

Since shortly after Crystal Rogers went missing nearly two weeks ago, family members have voiced their suspicions that her boyfriend is tied in some way to her disappearance.

But in recent days, those suspicions have expanded to encompass more than just Brooks Houck, her 33-year-old live-in boyfriend and father of one of her five children. Several family members have also raised questions about Houck’s brother, Nick Houck, who is a Bardstown Police officer.

Several volunteers searching along Ky. 49 have reported seeing a Bardstown Police cruiser and another vehicle matching the description of Brooks’ vehicle pass by their field headquarters in the direction of the Houck family farm.

There have also been reports that Nick Houck was on administrative leave or suspended, and that his police cruiser had been seized as part of the investigation into Rogers’ disappearance.

Bardstown Police Chief Rick McCubbin acknowledged the rumors about Houck’s absence Thursday, and said they are false. But when pressed about the details of Houck’s cruiser, McCubbin declined to comment.

“He is not on administrative leave. He is not suspended. There’s nothing,” McCubbin said regarding Nick Houck’s duties with the department.

McCubbin said his officer was due back on Monday and was currently off work with the rest of his patrol platoon as part of his normal duty rotation.

When asked about Houck’s police cruiser, McCubbin said he could only confirm that the car had broken down and had to be towed. But it was not in the shop, and the Bardstown Police Department did not have the vehicle in its possession Thursday.

I'm not sure if "love triangle" is the 1st thing that comes to mind for me. I would think he would be more loyal to his brother than his brother's gf. Stranger things have happened though.. JMO

Sorry to double post but I still am reading that he is not at work and his car was towed. Seems to be parts of the truth in this article and IMO that someone is trying to keep the heat off for the time being. Time will tell.
