One thing we can be fairly sure of given the bf's absolute lack of panic or interest in getting involved. Crystal is somewhere never to be found...like Susan Powell and others we've followed over the years. Her disappearance off the face of the earth was most likely very well planned out in advance and all tracks were covered ...and once the deed was done....sociopaths sit back and watch the show....knowing damn well the body will nevef be found nor will they have evidence to arrest. josh powell went free. drew peterson went free until arrested on a previous wife's murder after body exumed.

I think you're right. I don't think she's somewhere that's going to be easy to find. I hate thinking that he did something to her but he's very confident. Smug almost. I don't think I'd be that confident unless I knew I had covered all my bases.

Someone on that FB page asked about a comment they read and asked if it was fact that BH poured a concrete slab the Monday after?

Then a lady responded saying she was the one who made that comment and she said her good friend's daughter is best friends with one of the daughters and either the woman's friend or friend's daughter mentioned this to her. This was discussed on July 19th.

Then July 20th a different women in the same conversation asks if BH owns some of the land out at Copperfield subdivision?...saying new homes are going up....then asked if anyone checked that area?

I've been hearing the same thing about concrete being poured from a few people out here. I don't know if there's any truth to it. It would be pretty stupid of him but at the same time, whoever did something to her is bound to have made some kind of mistake somewhere or left something behind.

Walmart receipt confirms check out at 4:36 pm.
Next she brings two kids to their dads, then she brings son to BH. BH states on namcy grace she was at home 5:30. You mean to tell me she did all that in that time frame. Im thinking she never left the house she was showing. They need to look there for clues. That puts her car there (new house nails construction). Where was the rental located? This could explain why her daughter didnt get a reply at the 6 o clock tex

BBM

--but, he then goes on to say that she was at home , they had the "nothing new, nothing special" dinner, and went to the family farm at 7-7:30.

--for the Friday night family farm visit to not be true, everyone who was there-------had to have lied to LE that she was. (and surely, that being a huge part of his statement, LE did interview everyone who was present at the family farm.)

--he says that she got home "after 5".

HOUCK: When she left Wal-Mart on Friday, late afternoon, early evening, she showed a rental property that we have listed, in the Kentucky standard, in a large ad, multiple properties. She then left that and preceded home.

GRACE: So that was Friday evening. What time did she get home, Brooks?

HOUCK: After 5:00.

--which could mean 5:20, 5:30 etc., how long does it take to show a rental? it's not like showing a house, that people are interested in purchasing.

--it does bother me that she didn't answer the text from her daughter at 6----perhaps they were in a big argument at the time?she was getting the "nothing special" dinner on the table?/getting ready to go to the family farm thing?.....and would text/call her later.

--but, later has never come.

The news media has no new updates, law enforcement is quiet, and this thread has slowed down to a crawl...........that's a bad combination.

I wouldn't say it's a crawl....

Long time lurker, first time poster! For once I've arrived at the beginning of a case...and when I saw BH on NG all my spidey senses were tingling, for sure. So evasive, all the extra irrelevant details, etc., as everyone else has noted. All of the questions everyone here have raised seem so obvious but I guess we have no way of knowing whether LE has asked those questions of BH. Would love to know if they've been asked. I was frustrated listening to the NG interview because she should have just let him ramble instead of gabbling on himself.

I don't think poor CR will be found for a long time either :(. Like so many here have said, he's just too smug :(.

So they have confirmed she was at the pharm?
Ok did she leave the pharm? Does their route home pass any surveille camera such as a bank gas station. I once watched a show on tv how they used surveille cameras from a atm to prove killer wasn't actually where he said to been traveling. Killers often forget that law enforcement has access to these cameras if need be.

I think all we have heard so far is video surveillance from Walmart....

I see no evidence that anyone was at the farm for a party or otherwise, on Friday night. And no evidence that there was a dinner eaten by anyone. This information is from BH. LE probably knows if there is evidence from their farm house search, but the question of dinner really can't be proven. If she bought some foodstuffs at WalMart, that doesn't mean that it was eaten for dinner. Is there an itemized list of what she bought? I maybe missed it. JMO

I was wondering the same thing about going to the farm Friday night. I was under the impression that there were other people around that night because I thought he referred to it as a "get together." I'm assuming everything checked out there because they haven't said anything otherwise. That was the night they went to his moms farm house so maybe nobody else was there besides the the two of them and the baby? I live in a small town next to Nelson and there are spots in my county, further out, where I have spotty phone service so I wonder if maybe she just wasn't getting the texts or calls from her daughter around that time. I have to connect to wi-fi when I'm at my in-laws because I have no service. My phone works along the parkway but it gets sportier when I turn off on the exits.

I'm at work right now so of course my internet on my phone isn't working right (ha). If I remember correctly, didn't PLG13 say they were supplied with a copy of the Walmart receipt? I could be wrong...but maybe someone remembers?

PLG13 reported that they had obtained a copy of her receipt from Crystal's father.

I read somewhere that the tone of her last phone call was around 7pm, was this reported on any news media or confirmed by LE? If this is true, she would have pings showing her phone was at family farm.

If this isn't the case, then CR could have left her phone home when they went to the Houk family farm to spend time with 2-1/2yr old son.

Then again, what if neither of those are valid scenarios and something happened to CR after she got home. BH said he wasn't concerned of her absence because CR would go to cousins house sometimes "when they fought". Key words there, telling there must have been a fight that evening. What if something happened to CR in an argument or fight with BH & in a blind rage she was pushed, shoved, had something thrown at her, hit her head in a struggle with ir without the 2yr old in arms & became deceased? These are possible scenarios in any relationship that had any physical violence.
I'm leaning towards CR lost her life abruptly in an accident during a disagreement with someone & her body was not immediately disposed but rather someone, maybe a relative helped BH hide the body until they could think things through & come up with a clear plan of how to dispose of body without being linked to it or her disappearance without being rushed into making numerous mistakes.
If BH or any relative of BH had planned a death or disappearance, there would be zero traces. No car, no keys, no phone records, no coming home to BH, no family farm, etc. She literally would have disappeared without a trace. There are traces, few of them but there are traces. They are messy & don't make alot of sense & point to BH.

Jmo but i dont think whatever happened was an unplanned event in the heat of an argument. Too many signs lead me to believe this was very very well planned out in advance. Plus no blood stains found anywhere that we know of so it didnt happen in their house.

...and the car ... jmo again...nothing more than part of the staged plan.... perfect strategy for leading folks in the wrong direction from the beginning

so well thought out that even the nail was part of the planned scenario. Only missing variable in this scenario however is that BH would have needed one other person or....he planted the nail in her tire. followed her until it went flat. pulled up beside her said something like ..... just get out of the car so i can see whats going on....which would be how items were left in car..... or....told her to get in his car for a ride home or to service station ... knocked her out at that point in a way that would not produce blood...put her stuff back in her car... drove her to ..? he had already dug her grave and went home.
