I agree. This seems to be the JH show...or trying to be. These jurors must be so confused...remember they are not supposed to look up stuff on the net, like we all have.

Mr Buckner? said Joan Harmon carried a gun Even at home... And when he was working on one room, he would come to work on it and things like lights, radio, etc would be on. Even though everything would be shut off when he left. Now, it was unused but being fixed up to use.

@Niner Ms Petrie was the manager of the soda shop where JH worked as a waitress, and also a school teacher. She called LE about JH 8 days later, but we don’t know what exactly other than her demeanor. Sorry, can’t remember the other names. I’ll post the WHOP link when it comes up. They usually have the names.

Since these murders occurred several years ago and so much has happened, I just wonder if any of the jury members have a bit of prior knowledge of the court martial case charges/verdict, and/or JH's bigamy conviction. Also, these are small communities (people know people or at least know a little about different people). I realize that any prior knowledge of this case can't be used by jurors but often very difficult to leave it all at the door. All of this JMO, of course. Also, I didn't watch voir dire so I don't know what questions were asked.

I may change my mind as the day progresses but right now... I still think it's likely the defendant will testify. What do you think, Buf?

Yes, Mrs. Petrie was today.
Kenneth Murrey, owner of a trucking company, employed William Stokes.
Dorris Stokes, brother of William Stokes, he testified to being a volunteer firefighter who responded to the car burning.
Ed Stokes, former LE, I think he said Captain, talked about being removed from the murder case, he also talked about Kit's guns being taken in April of 2013 after LE was called between Kit and Joan. This is when Kit wanted a divorce and Joan got to stay in the home for approx 3 weeks until they had a hearing. (this is from McKenzie testimony)

Herschel Watkins is now on the stand. Neighbor of the Martins.

@fred&edna as of right now, I also think he may testify to tie the story up. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Mr. Watkins helped Kit and Joan move in. He helped them do some repairs to the home.
Joan was the boss of everything he states.
He saw Cal Phillips over at Kit's house often, they would sit out on the back porch.
He saw Joan going over to Cal's home often.
Joan started moving stuff and animals out and it all got moved over to Cal's house.
Sometime later, I didn't get the date, a big box truck showed up and a burgundy SUV and backed into the Phillips home.

This man forgot his hearing aids so it's hard to hear and follow for me(my hub is also mowing the grass)

Mr. Watkins testifies Kit was the best neighbor he ever had. Very quiet. Low profile.

He talked to LE May 2016. Commonwealth is saying he told the police this box truck showed up Nov 18 bet 10 and noon.

I don’t get why the prosecution showed that AT&T video showing JH and her 3 kids going into the store bringing in PP’s phone...and they did this on cross.

Every time I see the son, I am so struck with how much he looks like his mom.
