I don’t get why the prosecution showed that AT&T video showing JH and her 3 kids going into the store bringing in PP phone...and they did this on cross.

Every time I see the son, I am so struck with how much he looks like his mom.
It wasn't even Cross. The Commonwealth jumped right in to the ATT video, imo, made them look dumb. Then they jumped to the phone records about Pam's phone and the defense again made them look dumb. Commonwealth barely addressed the lack of viewing all camera footage.

I came in late to this testimony. I assume this is John Reeves, cell data expert? Correct?

Lots of instant messages. LOL, maybe it was with that mysterious co-conspirator that hasn’t been named

Jury dismissed as next witness could be lengthily.

Anyone think it could be Martin?

No. There is still a ballistic expert and at least one PI, according to Julia at Courtv

Different strokes for different folks, but I always know whether or not I am going to put my client on the stand before trial, and that decision does not change. When I do, I put them on first, then I have all the witnesses back up what they are going to say. Generally, I catch the Prosecutors off guard because nobody puts their client on the stand, so Prosecutors typically scramble furiously for their notepad to start writing their cross examination.

In this case, I may put him on the stand last because all these witnesses were great for the Defense. He can tie up all their loose ends.

I would have liked to see them go after the Stokes brothers a little more, although I don’t know how William’s lumber and scrap aluminum hauling trips fit into the timeline. I think Joan was given some privilege by the fact that she was dating the brother of the Sheriff on the case and she is a woman. What did the cops do to exclude her and her son? And it’s not like Kit hasn’t been telling everyone to investigate her. As if this is the first time they are hearing his defense.....

There is something about Detective Scott Smith that reminds me of Keifer Sutherland’s character in “A Few Good Men.” He’s got that smirk that seems to say, “Yeah, I’m perfectly willing to assist in ensuring that an innocent person going to jail for murder occurs due to my testimony and failure to investigate a viable suspect, but I’m not going to tell you that.” He just has a look like he’s into railroading people...like something that is alleged in this case: Lawsuit: 39 Years of Police Cover-up Sent Man to Prison - Loevy & Loevy

I wonder If Joan planned out to get a new boyfriend who has some type of connections to the LEO community to give her a little shade/protection. Does the next bf/guy just drop into her vision when she needs a new guy to support her and several kids? It came out today that she worked at that soda shop that Mrs Petrie managed. Waiting tables in that kind of place isn't going to feed 3 teens.

I could see them checking the timeline of William's logs to see if he maybe had some time to help her out in getting things done. Maybe I am far off base here but stranger things have happened. Where was her son who was granted immunity?

I could see the defense bringing back the Stokes brothers to ask what they had told William and if he had pumped the cop brother for info.

That judge really messed up when he changed his mind after saying they had to testify. My opinion only.

And, I always wondered why the AG’s office has taken the case, and why the Christian County DA didn’t indict. Could it be that they didn’t want the case to see the inside of a courtroom out of fear that a defense attorney might show they let a murderer not be held accountable because the sheriff deputy’s brother is involved? No......that would take some kind of connection between the sheriff’s deputy and the District Attorney who would not prosecute the case.....you know.... something like this: Kentucky Prosecutor Recused from Murder Case for Relationship with Detective

Boy, those Stokes boys get around, don't they?

Maybe they just didn't want to look like dunces the way this prosecution does.

Watching Vinnie on Court TV now. He brought up that Joan had called Pam and Pam screamed and went away. Fast forward and Joan shows up at ATT with the phone.

Did she go over there? Some one else bring it to her? When?

Joan is awful; I hope she dies a lonely death. So many nice women out there and the guys sniff around her like a dog in heat.

Someone else said the same thing about the phone and scream. Rocky said the same thing when she was on the stand. So, who was it: Joan or Rocky? I know who I would believe and it wouldn't be Joan.

Is this in the same reference of the 5:30ish last call of Pam's? That 'Rocky' testified too? or two separate things?

KY - Ed Dansereau, 63, Pamela, 58, & Calvin Phillips, 53, murdered, Pembroke, 19 Nov 2015 *arrest*

6/14/21 Monday, Day 7 of Trial: Defense starts their case. (Probably not in the correct order). Defense witnesses: Amanda Flagg sister of Martin. Judge has blocked defense from asking her about Joan Harmon, Martin’s ex. His best friend/roommate in flight school. McKenzie Bennett, Martin’s daughter. Daughter's testimony: “[Harmon] said I’ll ruin your life, I’ll ruin your military career. I know how to do it, I’ll tell them you abused me” daughter recalls day her father & stepmother split. Defense skirts hearsay objection by arguing it’s not offered for the truth of the matter asserted. Attorney Katherine Foster. The Commonwealth objected trying to block Attorney Katherine Foster from testifying about her prosecution of Joan Harmon for bigamy. Foster says there was implicit pressure from the Army JAG officer (JAG office Major Garrett) handling Martin’s court martial to drop her prosecution of Joan Harmon. Lisa Petrie, manager of L&R Soda Fountain where Joan Harmon was employed. Kenneth Murrey, owner of trucking co. employed William Stokes. William Stokes, boyfriend of Harmon’s. Dorris Stokes, bro of William. Kenneth Buckner, who helped renovate the defendant’s home. Herschel Watkins, neighbor of Martin’s. Lt. Scott Smith, lead investigator. Pros showed video of Harmon in the AT&T store. John Reeves, cell data expert. Trial continued on 6/15/21.

@BUF - not sure if I got all the witnesses for yesterday - so awaiting that article you said you would post.... :)

Julia didn't give out too much info yesterday....

Tuesday, June 15th:
William Stokes, boyfriend of Harmon’s. .

I didn’t see William Stokes testify. It was only Dorris the firefighter and Ed the sheriffs deputy who was taken off the case because of a conflict since his brother was dating Joan’s

Thank you - I shall correct my notes. I wasn't too sure about William - as I saw a post where he "did" testify, but now I realize it was for the prosecutors' case.

@Niner just checked again. That earlier link I posted was the only one they had yesterday.

Coverage of this trial has been so spotty!
