Interesting that this guy deleted his profile. Doesn't he know that the police most probably accessed it while it was still there? Also, wouldn't they have access to it through the cache?

Maybe myspace deleated his account. I heard on the news they deleated a bunch of convicted sex offenders. Maybe he has a past has anyone checked? I'm not sure it's this guy. Have they ever actually met? I have a few friends on myspace that I only know through myspace.

Actually I clicked on his myspace link and the account is still there. It came up with a new picture though..Of Freddy Kruger hmm?!

If you clicked the MySpace link in my post, it went to Google's cache. If you try and click through to the current page from there, it says profile deleted.

EDITED TO ADD: About Mr. Creepy, I never said I thought he was the killer, just that he might only be guilty of being an a-hole. I did think it was worth pointing out that his site was gone, but that could have happened because cops did interview him and it spooked him in general.

Yeah, it's almost "too easy" for it to be him in a way, if that makes sense. That's why I expressed some surprise at the news the profile was deleted. I'll wait to see what else there is. (Though I still don't get good vibes about "Mr. Creepy" as you call him, not at all!)

Tragedy strikes again for family

On the same day Jennifer Ison and her two young daughters were found dead in their burned mobile home, a cousin of Jennifer Ison, 18-year-old Kevin Ross Johnson, was found dead less than a mile away. The coroner still isn't sure of the cause of Johnson's death.
LEX 18 spoke with Jennifer Ison's uncle Monday morning, and he said one of her aunts had been at the scene of the fire last Wednesday with the rest of the family. But when she returned home that afternoon, she found Johnson, her grandson, unresponsive over his computer keyboard. (a little more at link)

What an awful thing for the aunt to endure. It seems suspicious that another family member would suddenly die the same day less than a mile away. I wonder if he is the suspect.

Thanks, didn't think to check MY OWN freaking State. I only checked the southern section of the US. So she would have had to do the national check w/his name to find out his background, eh? I better get on the ball.

The sex offender registries have holes in them. She wouldn't have found this guy through any normal search. I wonder if she just got a creep vibe from him, then cut him off, and he started stalking.

I also am still wondering if he may have been "Don't mess with the police" dude. That original profile is gone, as is the profile of a girl who said the guy was her "favorite uncle." A girl who looked very young. That guy listed his residence as Chesapeake OH, too.

Robert Drown worked with my husband for 3 months. During that time Jennifer brought him to work and picked him up every day. This was not a brief encounter, they were dating for quite some time.

Apparently, the mother dated this man for quite some time. He probably went over to the house, and she let him in. He murdered her and her older daughter and then probably raped the little one. I am surmising that it is the little one that was raped because he left her alive. He then set the entire place on fire, which then killed her, too.

What a sad, sad story. It also makes me mad because Jennifer was so desperate for a relationship that she put her daughters at risk. Just my opinion.

Why am I not surprised? God what a sick world! Hope he gets the death penalty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And even that wouldn't be enough punishment for him.

Someone posted on crimblog that Jennifer let this man babysit her kids while she was at work and another said that they only dated about three months. I think that there should be free detective services somewhere so that women can make sure what type of men they are involved with if they're interested.

I understand how people can be upset that Jennifer broght his man around her children, but people can be very deciving. I don't think they should be attacking her for doing this to her children. I'm sure she didn't want this to happen. Also as noted on this thread it can be very tricky working and finding people on the state SOR. I see this as a sad story, and it seems the mom is being attacked, even in death. I would guess outside of WS only 1&#37; of the population if that would even think of checking the SOR before dating someone. There is another thread on here where the ex-wife had no idea her ex-husband had been convicted and placed on his states SOR, and the judge let him keep the child. I hope the we on WS can avoid blameing the victim on this one. The free backgroud check/dective service would be nice, but it will never happen. No one will every agree to pay for it. I can tell you every time one of my friends or family members gets a new boy/girlfriend I make sure I look them up. I also keep tabs on my younger family members my-space accounts. As a matter of fact I just made one of my cousins remove one of her "friends" I thought he was questionable.

Sex offender charged in deaths of mother, 2 girls

A West Virginia sex offender strangled a Carter County woman, raped and beat her 10-year-old daughter to death and then burned their mobile home, killing a 3-year-old child in the blaze, Kentucky State Police said yesterday.

The bodies of Jennifer Ison, 31, and her daughters, Shannah, 10, and Marissa, 3, were found early May 9 in the ashes of their mobile home in Hitchins. Marissa died of smoke inhalation, investigators said.


Robert L. Drown Jr., 27, was served with arrest warrants Wednesday in a Barboursville, W.Va., jail where he was taken into custody a week ago for failing to register as a sex offender.


"This is probably the most heinous crime I've seen in 22 years as a prosecutor," Carter Commonwealth's Attorney David Flatt said. He said he would seek the death penalty.

In Kentucky, he was charged with three counts of murder and one count each of rape, arson and first-degree burglary, state police said.


Trooper Elliott Gollihue said Drown and Ison had "a very short-term relationship," but investigators declined to comment on a motive for the killings during a news conference yesterday at Grayson City Hall.

This is such an awful crime and I hope that worthless peice of crud gets the death penalty :banghead: . It breaks my heart that our children are not safe in this world.
