The Burkesville police chief says they are in search of a man that has been missing since last week.

According to the Chief of Police, they are looking for Jordan Moore, 29, of Burkesville.

Moore was last seen near a house at 6687 Columbia Road, just north of Burkesville.

He says volunteer search teams have been looking for Moore for the past two days, and they will continue Thursday (today). Only trained volunteers will be assisting today as they will be in an area closer to swifter moving and higher water.

If you have any information on Moore's whereabouts, please call the Burkesville Police Department at 270-864-4141.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Several days into the investigation it was learned that that Jordan had been at a residence approximately 6 miles north of Burkesville. It was stated by an acquaintance that he was last seen running from this location across a creek into a field and wooded area. several days later a pair of jeans were located down stream around a mile from the area last seen these were confirmed to be Jordans by his mother. On March 19, 2019, a pair of boxers were found further down stream.

why on earth would he be running through the woods without pants or boxers?! only thing that comes to mind is that he was caught in the act by a jealous husband, but it's all so creepy. another day, another man (mysteriously) dead in the water. rip jordan.
