Washington County Sheriff's Department, 88-year-old Joseph Brown was reported missing on Thursday. Brown "has a tendency to get confused and or lost." He was last seen in the Voyles Road area on Wednesday. He may be driving a red 2015 Buick Enclave with an Indiana license plate, number D185XR.

SILVER ALERT: Police search for missing southern Indiana man
A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for 88-year-old Joseph L. Brown, of Martinsburg.

Brown is 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. He carries a cane, wears a Catholic scapular around his neck and drives a red 2015 Buick Enclave with Indiana handicap plate D185XR, according to a release from the Indiana State Police.

He was most recently seen on Thursday, Dec. 6, and is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
