Dateline mentions that Kentucky State Police were able to track Kayla to a local church in the area, after the little league basketball game which was at 225 East 3rd Avenue in Bowling Green, KY. This was to my understanding on the 12/16/2022.
The nearest church I could find is the State Street Baptist Church, at walking distance (see google map referenced below).

SBM. The women do bear a striking resemblance, IMHO. I have been trying to find any photos of our missing Kayla with the "Monroe" (lip) piercing that the woman in the link appears to have (MOO - anyone else see this?), although I have only been able to find photos dating back to 2017 at this point. Quite often these piercings leave a scar and I haven't noted anything on our Kayla's photos, however I realize that may not always be the case and it's pure speculation on my part.

Yes, I thought so when I found the booking photo for the Florida Kayla Marie Decker- definitely looks like her, albeit a few years younger and the arrestee and the missing Kayla are the same age. Since it's 7 years ago, she's likely moved some as Knox found for us in the post earlier today. As for the scar - I have one on my forehead where I got whacked in the face with end of a bungee cord that was holding on an engine (intake) cover on a corporate plane I was flying. I use the smudge function in photo editing to blur it in any photos. If she had a scar, she might have blurred it out if she was doing any photo touch up.

The KMD of the booking photo was born in Dec 1987, whilst missing Kayla was born Sept 1987.
Personally I am not so sure it is the same person. How probable is a mistake in the booking?

ETA I found the second surname (maiden?) of the one in the booking photo, and the public data/address/ relatives which cannot be posted here. i am now sure it is a different person
