Oh no. I forget what ten years old is all about. Way too young for trauma, but just "getting it". This IMO makes this murder worse. This poor kid.

I just can’t for the life of me understand a grown woman being afraid as the mother was known to have a gun but yet she sends those innocent babies back home after suspecting abuse. Shame on her, how dare she...that’s even more reason to get them out, their voices can’t be heard and we as grown adults need to advocate for our vulnerable.
sorry for the rant, I’m just so sick and tired of reading these horrific stories that never should have happened, these children are let down time and time again by other adults in their life and it makes my heart hurt too much.
