He has a memorial in Michigan (see attached file and Phillip Robert McKibben (1945-1981) - Find A... .)

He seems to have been divorced from his wife in Florida in 1976, but presumably - judging by the memorial which seems to be a plot owned by the ex-wife - the divorce was amicable.

Are we sure this is the same man who is missing. If I google my exact name it pops up more that I like and I don't have a common name.

Marriage records suggest that Phyllis was his ex wife.

There's a Phyllis buried in that plot. Interestingly, she was born in 1922 so she was quite a bit older than him. She died in 2006.

I think both his mother and ex wife were named Phyllis and he is buried in his family's plot.
