All three suspects remain at the Jessamine County Jail without bond. They have a court date scheduled for June 26.

One child told police they had not had lunch or dinner and had only eaten cereal.

Three dogs and five cats were also living inside. Officers reported exposed human and animal feces throughout the residence. The home was determined to be unfit for habitation and posed a risk of serious illness or death.

Another occupant stated the children are frequently sick due to the condition of the home.
