I am about as local as you get and have a fairly big social media following on one particular platform. More than 20,000 followers and the majority of them are local. When I post about her disappearance on there, I get one of two reactions: people either haven't heard about the story or they want to victim blame. It's a cycle. I have no particular answers, nor am I blaming the media. Just reporting back with what I am seeing here in town. I will say, though, that when local news channels post the articles about her on FB, those articles get just many comments and shares as articles about any other story. I've noticed no discernible lack of interest, just not that many updates.
I guess I just find it out of the norm. Normally National news picks up their info from local news. Which makes sense since local news usually has more info, possible interviews , etc. I was surprised yesterday that the opposite happened. I do see local reports but thats all it is. I haven't seen any investigative reporters who are not constricted by the bounds law enforcement is and can be very useful. Situations vary and there may be a reason there are no investigative reporters involved (apologies if I missed it) but investigative reporters have helped crack cases via interviews, knocking on doors, gathering info and more. It's just something I see missing. Like I said it is hard to keep the media going in these cases but it is also important. JMO and always ready to admit I'm wrong.

They are saying now the last place Savannah was seen was at a rural home. Most likely all three men and Savannah were intoxicated. Three intoxicated men and one female equals sex on the men's mind.

Savannah had just given birth to twins about six weeks earlier. If sex occurred could she have stated hemorrhaging? She could have been raped and bled to death. They hid the body. Raped and fled, died somewhere from health issues after fleeing. I'm thinking there is a big possibility the birth of the twins may play a part in her being missing and most likely not alive.
That's something I have thought of as well. Even if it weren't rape and possible consensual with one man. Surrounding circumstances may have made the man/men apprehensive to call for help for fear of getting in trouble or even what she might say were she to survive. Another thought is they all fell asleep and when they awoke SS had bled out. Pure speculation based on this possible scenario alone. JMO

Probably hoping someone will call in a tip that says they know it isn't true.

LE specifically put out that particular part of what they were told for a reason while not releasing all.

So since she supposedly left alive someone most likely would have seen her afterwards at some point IF true which I don't believe the investigators believe for one second.

Imo
I think this unanswered question is on purpose as well:One of the men with whom Spurlock left said that Spurlock did, in fact, leave the location in Garrard County "later that morning" on Jan. 4, but didn't specify how she left the house

This seems plausible except for blood evidence. Luminol must have been used at the house right?

So, if no one calls in saying that they have seen her, that's proof she never left the house?

It would be a starting point.

Yes, or in the car if she didn't actually make it to the house.

ETA: I say yes if that was included aspart of the search warrant. They are very specific but I can't imagine that not being part of it.

Probably. They may have seen something laying out in plain sight that aroused their suspicion.

It could be a myriad of reasons since LE is being close lipped to what all was said or what they may have seen.

I get very nervous in any case that involves three males alone with one woman in the home.

Does anyone think it's possible she really DID have someone come pick her up and THAT person did harm to her, not the 3 guys?

I personally don't, my theory is she OD'd, whether on drugs or alcohol poisoning, and they disposed of her. But since none of them have been arrested quite yet, it did make me wonder if someone else picked her up from the house and something happened to her after that. Especially since the searches haven't picked up a trace of her yet.

On the photos, I do think it's strange her purse is open. But, I would like to know how LONG it was open. For instance, that's just one photo. It could have popped open and in the next second she closed it and they did not post that picture. I would find it more strange if it was open the entire time no one said anything to her. And in strange I just mean that the guys she was with didn't mention it. Tells me they weren't interested in her well being rather than other things. But, no one offering her a jacket tells me they weren't interested in her well being either. She has her arm linked in his rather than his arm around her keeping her warm.

I don't find her arms crossed photos worrisome. I'm cold ALL the time and this is how I would look also. In some photos she looks like she's have a friendly conversation, the next she's waiting on them and getting really cold.

I DON'T think she walked off. If she did walk outside, I think she would have walked to meet someone to give her a ride, not wandered miles down the road, either in heels or barefoot. It's too cold out. If she left, she left to meet someone who would pick her up IMO.

She definitely should have made better life choices, but, she is a mother and a daughter. She deserves to be found no matter what. I feel that way of anyone who goes missing. I'm sad that more people are focusing on her bad choices rather than helping find her. Her babies will never know their mom, and all they will be left with are the comments on social media :(

The longer they search for her without a trace, the more though I wonder about someone else picking her up. Although the 3 guys easily could have driver her somewhere far away.

All just my rambling thoughts :) All IMO's.

Can't prove a negative - but if someone calls in and says they've seen her, they have verification that she did leave on her own, and based on where she was seen, that can move the investigation. For now it remains centered as to where she was last seen. Why shouldn't the police publicize that information?

I get the sense that you don't believe that there is any possibility she was harmed or that there is any possibility that one or more of the people she was last seen with could be culpable in any way. Curious as to what your theory is.

As for me, I've seen too many of these stories to really doubt how it's going to end. Happens all the time - young intoxicated woman not making the best of decisions ends up with one or more people with evil on their mind.

There doesn't seem to be a very clear path in this case at all. The only thing I can say is certain is that she appeared to leave with the men willingly based on how close she was walking with the one man in the pictures. I hope she is found safe but I have a bad feeling about this case and her well being at this point. Sad to say I don't believe this one will end well. Prayers to her family and her young kids.

Police: Men in Savannah Spurlock video 'know that we know who they are'

"We haven’t released their names and don’t intend on doing so at this time. Those three men know that we know who they are and right now that is good enough for us."

"There was a purse found in a car that Savannah took to Lexington. We do not have her cellphone. We would like to have her cellphone," Richardson said. "We are looking for her and the cellphone, but we know for sure the cellphone went out of service around 8:30 - 8:45 that morning. How it went out of service we don’t know, but we know that it did and it hasn’t been turned back on."

Looks like info is starting to be released here and there

Feb 4th report

["The two friends went to Lexington around 10 p.m. While at the bar, Savannah Spurlock’s friend left because the two got into an argument, Savannah’s mother said.]

["Ellen Spurlock said she called Savannah about 2:30 a.m."]

[“I was like, ‘Where are you at? You should be home by now,’” Ellen Spurlock said. “I guess she didn’t like my tone of voice and she hung up. She FaceTimed me right back from a car, and she said, ‘Everything is fine. I’m just having fun with friends. I promise I will be home later this morning.’ She seemed fine to me. She didn’t seem upset or under duress. She was coherent. Whenever she says she’s going to do something, she does it. She’s very responsible.'”]
‘I’m begging you.’ Missing Kentucky woman’s mom thinks men have more to tell.

Her purse being left in the car is strange to me. Seems like if she went into the house she would have taken her purse with her into the house and not just left it in a strangers vehicle but then again she left the bar with strangers so who really knows. Also the purse in the photos appears to be a cross body purse. When I use my cross body purse I don't even take it off when I'm driving but that is just me.

BBM- The new information about the cell phone going out of service around 8:30-8:45am is very interesting to me. That is very different than previous information of it going off after the FaceTime call. It opens a small possibility up in my mind of someone other than the 3 possibly being involved. I still think the 3 men are more likely, but it gives a small bit of doubt. MOO
