Perhaps SS FaceTimed thinking her mom wouldn’t b*tch at her about staying out if other people with her (or other people that could hear or see what mom was saying)

Or easier to FT rather than texting “staying out be home later” and getting backlash from her mom or texts back and forth? JMO

Ita. No lingering in LA, either (Lex Area), we all k ow cameras are everywhere in LA. Those guys weren’t at their first rodeo. They also knew lingering would alert the law. Wish they’d all been arrested for PI. SS would be home.
Alcohol poisoning, alcohol/drug combo.....something went wrong, I think. Someone got scared. Moo
Ok , what does ITA mean? It has driven me crazyand I know I am gonna hate the simple answer!

I believe it. Maybe she was used to partying or doing certain things but she just gave birth so her tolerance was way off. Way down. I could be way off and something very sad and intentional harm happened but I’m just assuming she took something and the amount of alcohol in her system made for a lethal outcome. We do know she didn’t leave with her friend which implies she wanted to keep drinking or party.

Sad all around.

That has happened to more than a few who successfully completed a rehabilitation/incarceration program in my career. Even after being taught the dangers.

Yes, we’ve discussed these things for weeks.
Her friend, thankfully made it home safely. I wish she could have persuade S to leave with her. The friend was prob not too happy to have to drive home alone, after drinking. Maybe she didn’t drink alcohol, tho.

Missing Woman Found Dead In Dix River

I 100% thought this was her when I saw the headline and byline from GC! But apparently not. Another missing woman, I don't even think she made the news yet. Garrad County again makes me nervous!

One of the guys she was with that night was on his way to the station to talk to detectives when he was pulled over for having a headlight out. He identified the other guys that were with him that night to detectives.

Another strange case.

No. But she went missing this a.m. I guess. Lol. Depending on the news, right?
Omg, I fed horses, was taking boots off & heard the clip, almost broke my neck getting out of muddy boots to run to the TV, grabbed iPad thinking the thread would be on fire.....nothing! And, as I posted, there was no link.
Baffled? Yup!

Some thoughts about alcohol:

She seems to be comfortable with bars and alcohol consumption so she may have been someone who binged on too many drinks on nights out.

While pregnant, perhaps she totally abstained.

Many pregnant women really miss having an alcoholic beverage during pregnancy and anticipate being able to enjoy it again.

So maybe after delivery, Savanna quickly resumed consuming alcohol at her prior level. Looking forward to nights out. If her DUI occured 12/28/2018, wouldnt’ that have been about a week after delivering the twins? That’s more than just finally being able to enjoy a glass or two with dinner. That might be resumption of bingeing, but without her prior tolerance.

Leading to quick intoxication and subsequent bad choices.
(Apologies if this has been fully discussed before - it just seems like a DUI a week after delivery is not the norm)

I really wish we would get some good news for her mom and her tiny children. Whatever it may be.

Idk what's going on with them. They need someone to get their site moving and up to date.
The media reporting lately has been awful in several cases. It's like a race to see who can post the fastest whether it's accurate or not. GAAAH

I was like you! Bless her heart, I'd not even heard she was missing. Of course she's an adult and there's a hold time for adults.

Don't let the fact something has been discussed stop you from posting your thoughts. Not everyone has the time to follow the threads and some people jump in after reading the last few pages of a thread. Some have brought up the possibility of the DUI being caused by pain medication from giving birth (in Kentucky DUI cane be alcohol or drugs). I don't know this woman's life but I can remember being overwhelmed after the 1st few sleepless nights. If I were a drinker then and had someone to babysit I might have done the same thing. Just to add, it doesn't take much alcohol to get a DUI.
