With the newly released pictures of savannahs bag and phone to me it looks like when she went out that night she had pictures taken with her friends etc and they have zoomed in on the bag, it looks like she's posing.. Can see her hand on her hip and it's clear so I think her friend has gave some pictures of them from that night to the police.. I know when I use to go out me and my friends would always have some pictures taken somewhere along the line I'm thinking the same with the phone I know it's strange but looks like they have zoomed in on a pic of her phone... Perhaps they found a picture of her with her phone in the background or something. Jmo

Does anyone find it odd that the fathers of the four children have not been heard from? Aside from one article there is nothing. I feel like the mother has made a lot of conflicting statements to the media. My opinion on this case is that she was drunk and took a ride with them thinking it will all work out. I feel like all the answers lie in the mens minds. I do think they know exactly what occurred but will not say. We see cases like this too often it's very sad.

Looks to be the purse she was wearing as a crossbody to me.

Really? I dunno. Look at this. Does anybody think they just don't look like the same purse?

I don't understand the news regarding her purse and cell phone. The purse they have photographed does not look like the purse she was wearing when she went missing. What's the significance of the photographed purse in the news?
I agree why didnt they say something about these items weeks ago? Why havent they released any info after interviewing the 3 men other than 1 saying she left in the morning, what did the other 2 say? What about the girl and guy she went to the bar with has anyone interviewed them?

I don't actually think it's strange.. Her mother, aunt and now best friend have spoken out. We don't actually know what sort of relationship they had with savannah at the time ie good terms/ bad terms I mean I have seen some things on sm with regards to the older childs father which is not allowed on here so I won't repeat. But I don't see what else them speaking would do. Apart from probably open up more abuse and I don't mean by anything they have done just seems people keep commenting on savannah anyway they can. So if they was to talk then I bet the bully's would have a whole new bunch to say.

can anyone zoom in because in this pic I dont see a watch or bracelet on her left arm yet in the one the police released she is wearing something on her left wrist.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about all we know about this case. As far as I know they haven't said there was foul play involved so doesn't that mean they have not found anything to lead them to believe or tell them Savannah lost her life?

Wouldn't they tell the public foul play involved as soon as they determined that?

Leaves me thinking she did leave that home alive.

Wow, they do look different. The one she had the night she went missing looks kind of like a chain strap. I thought it was just the lighting

I cant see a watch or bracelet on her left wrist in the pic on the right but you can in the other pic, maybe this is another photo from a different time?

Yes, its just the lighting and the fact that the purse was hanging open. If you look at the sides/lining of the bag, they are black, with the purse open, it would appear more black than camel colored. I have a bag made like this...they are the same.

If you Google Savannah Spurlock and images there are several pictures of her carrying the purse. The lighting is what's making the difference in the looks of the purse. You're correct, it's the same purse.

Thanks! This is what I was explaining about search groups last night regarding the training and protocols. Except this does a better job of it. :)

Great :)

To add on as well, if anyone else reads it, there's really specific protocol on SAR.

I follow some of the SM SS groups and there are people (not involved in the case at all) driving in from all over to "search" on their own, based on hunches. I do believe these people are mostly well intentioned. Everyone just wants to help find this poor girl but...I hope they understand that searching isn't random. In many cases these "helpers" are searching on private property with no permission. They have no LE representation with them, authorization, or training. Also, I have seen posts of these "helpers" touching things and taking pictures of it. Posting it online. It's a bit concerning.

I hope that the LE supported searches can continue based on the best information they have.

I think it's the same purse. Maybe they're hoping someone will be out feeding, or walking, and will see it, and recognize it.

The filtering and lighting are so different in the two pictures that the skirt that looks dark red in one appears to be violet in the other. The purses do look different but I don't see anything that couldn't be lighting.

WHY don’t they use her current pic with those items???

Maybe because they think she might still be alive somewhere and might have changed her appearance?

It's possible that it may have taken some time to get the clear photos.

Has anyone on here made the connection of the owners (last name) of the house at XXXX Falls Lick Rd. (where the car was towed from) to the last name of one of the male individuals? Is it kosher to say on here?

Number 2 from SS's friends interview at bottom:
We really don't know what SS was going through but it reminded me of something I went through years ago that caused me to look for information. After adopting a teen who was one the of the most well behaved, polite, and kindest child I'd ever met she became pregnant at 16. She was a responsible and amazing mom. About 10 months later I was devastated to find out she was pregnant again. She came from a troubled past which no doubt attributed to the pregnancies but she did share with me that she felt like trash and thought no guy would ever want her after having the 1st baby so she fell for the first guy that showed interest and became pregnant again. Reading about it there are many women who are driven to have babies. A few examples from the linked article:
  • {Some of the women were suffering with depression or panic attacks and yet when their youngest child became a toddler, they wanted another baby. These women can be driven to have more children in an effort to make up for some sort of void or loss, usually from their own unhappy childhood}
  • {having babies to complete something in yourself that never got completed)
  • {Babies — all new and cherubic and completely enthralled with their mothers — can bring profound joy. But when they enter toddlerhood and start developing independence and a mind of their own, some mothers miss the intenseness of the newborn period and want another baby even though that’s not in the best interests of the family}
My point? People assume that wanting sex is the reason unmarried women have babies and give unfair labels to the mothers. It's much easier to make a quick judgment than to think a little deeper as to why. But if you don't really know someone you can't fairly say either. My daughter could have been destroyed by the things people said about her. It may even have caused her to become who people were saying she was. But she overcame and grew to be an amazing & happy wife & mother. She worked hard to attain 2 college degrees (all while being a dedicated wife & mother), is very active in serving the community and is very well adjusted. Savannah has the same opportunity if found. I'm not posting this because I think people here are judging here. It's generally quite the opposite. I'm posting this after reading SS's friends comments in hopes of enlightening .

From linked article SS friend
“I think it’s crazy that people have the audacity to go on there [social media] and bash her when, No. 1, you don’t know what the girl was going through. No. 2, you don’t personally know her and, No. 3, this very well could have been your family,” Speratos said}
