They found SS's car at an apartment complex. They never named the complex in MSM so I don't want to put that out there. I had assumed it was at the apt complex that the male friend lived at but that's never been verified either. I do think at some point she would have needed to get a ride to her car, either something like uber or from someone else. Maybe she thought they were going to drive her back? Or maybe she was going to hang out for a little bit longer and then get a ride back to her car with them. She left her phone charger in the car which makes me think she hadn't planned on being gone for real long. Even her friend and mom are quoted saying that she would never let her phone just die. And you're welcome!
I have a much clearer picture now in my mind. This just sounds all too familiar to some other cases I have followed and they hardly ever turn out to be just a tragic accident! MOO Brittanie Drexel comes to mind

Many people were speculating why would she leave her car behind. Well of course she left her car behind! She didn't have it, it was parked at the male friends. And she was likely planning to be dropped off at the male friends apartment after hitting another bar or what have you. Wow it really smacks you in the face even just adding in the few details that we are privy to ....This was no accident IMO

I agree. I think she was tryingto be responsible. I know SM has come down pretty hard on her and I don't blame her mom and friends for wanting to preserve her reputation and protect her. Leaving the car behind at the friends shows that she's capable of making good decisions. I don't think shes as careless as what I've seen insinuated- this could've happened to anyone. It only takes one wrong turn for your whole life to be upended.

If she was planning to be dropped off after hitting another bar, why did she tell her mom she would be home in the morning?

It was already morning. I assume she meant at some point before noon, she would be home.

IMO I think SS thought she was getting a ride to her car when she is standing outside looking cold in the still surveillance pic that was released. I now don't think she thought she was in any danger when she FT'd her Mom. I think she was misled ….and shortly after that phone call things went bad for her .
Just speculation on my part but one of the men could have asked to borrow her phone and she being the nice person allowed him to . He could have thrown it out a window , kept it away from her or who knows what. So who is to say the pings are at the correct location ? Things could of been tossed while in route to their final destination.
But the PD are pretty adamant she was at the house . So unless someone told them , then the pings had to have picked up there.
This case really bothers me ...I want her found so bad . I hate that she is getting the nasty comments in SM. Actually it really PEES me off.
She is a H-U-M-A-N & deserves to be treated as one. She is some ones daughter , mother to 4 little angels , friend . I hope LE has more than what has been released and they're just tying up the loose ends . IMO I do think there is more STILL pics / VIDEO they have.

Why do posters have such a hard time accepting what is known? She left the bar & had no intention of returning home until the morning.
I don’t see anyone arguing with this. Not sure where you are finding this particular contention.

I believe you are correct, her intention was more than likely to return from Lexington to Richmond in the morning.

Leaving her car at her friends could just be because the guy insisted on driving.

Do all bars in Lex close at the same time?

If so, she may have just wanted to not be ready to call it a night. And wasn’t snookered into thinking she was headed to another bar

Which is ok. But where is she?

I go back and forth between harm, to wandering off, to meeting harm...

Last call is at 230 am in Lexington. The only place with bars open later is in Louisville.

IIRC her mom needed the car back home early because she needed it to get to work in the early am hours.

How would that be any less responsible as you're implying?

I don't know that her mom works but she definitely said in one of the articles that she had somewhere to be at a certain time and Savannah was aware that she would need the car.

I just answered a poster suggesting she was going to another bar & then to her car.

Night all prayers for Savannah and her loved ones! Hopefully they have answers soon!

You used leaving her car was a sign of responsibility on her part. I said maybe not.

Even if we suggest she thought she was being taken to her car immediately, that does not preclude her intending to go home later that morning. She may have intended to go to GC in her own car so she could leave when she pleased. She very well may have believed they were giving her a ride to her car first.

Have Savannahs family been told behind the scenes that she is not coming back or is no longer alive? I just wondered with her dad taking the little boy to counselling when she has only been missing for a month. It seems pretty early because she still could be alive and come back.

The kid needs counseling to deal with the current uncertainty, not with her certain death.
