I think the dog in the pic is Guss. Hope they took him. He has about 8 years experience and a very successful track record with searches. Find her Guss!

I don’t think they set out to intentionally do anything for the exact reason you mentioned. I do think something accidental could’ve happened. They towed the car so I think LE has a pretty good idea of what happened.

She could’ve taken off like they said and succumbed to the elements or gotten hurt walking along side the road.

If any of those men are involved, I don't believe they ever intended to kill her either. I think something happened that made them feel that they had to, or there was an actual accident that they were afraid to report (drug overdose, alcohol poisoning, etc).

Again, I fine it rare that 3 men would conspire to kill SS. I would think 1 could have killed her, but I doubt the other 2 would cover for him. As for an accident, how could all 3 be responsible. Overdose?

That's something I have thought as well. It wouldn't necessarily mean all 3 men were involved. I would be interested to hear what the relationship between the 3 are. Was one of the men someone the other 2 met at the bar? An acquaintance? Did 2 of the men leave at some point leaving SS alone with other or vice versa? We don't know what happened after the call to the mother. Who went where with who. Just thoughts going through my head. JMO

It makes no sense to me if it were an accident that someone wouldn't have called 911 or reported it. I understand that if drugs were involved, people might hesitate to implicate themselves, but I think that is complete bulls%$it and a cop out.

If she is not found alive, I hope beyond hope that a COD can be determined.

Why would she be kept Alive after a month?

I think they are looking for a deseased person rather than a live one now.

I read too that one guy said she left on foot, but I feel if that were the case and there was an accident, her body would be out in the open or more easily found.

Hadn't thought of it not belonging to someone in or acquainted with homeowners. Seems doubtful unless the car was abandoned there but that to seems odd. Unless I am doing something incorrectly, Kentucky court online court record info is so limited compared to most. Most I have worked with give much more info

Yes, KY court records are sorta limited. Ya gotta really dig. The son may have asked his parents if a friend could park the vehicle there. Son may not live with them. If he does, then it's possible that the home they are saying she walked away from, is the other guy's home. Most folks would notice that their son strolls in at 4 a.m. with a stranger in tow. Then again, his parents may have left him to house-sit, and later, LEOs come knocking, with a search warrant in hand. That particular residence's boundaries are outlined in red, in the google shot, so it's not a large lot (about an acre) and should have been fairly easy to search.

If this is the same vehicle, as in the links/photos below, though, then I've a feeling it belongs to the son, or someone else who either lives at, or frequents, that property;

Starting at 2:03 in vid at link, I think that is the vehicle, that they load onto the rollback.

The below pics show the vehicle on a rollback, (Vehicle Seized) and, I think..., that may be the same vehicle that you can see in the Google overhead shot, too (Car Site). If so, that vehicle has a history of being there since at least 04/2017.

The only msm statement I've seen about SS leaving one of the men's home was from her aunt. She could have got that info indirectly from the police, the men themselves, or social media. I don't know if its true.

They don't though. Many times, if the person is still alive, they'll call 911 and ditch. If they realize it is too late, they may have just hidden the body, hoping someone will find her, or not, and it will all go away. Remember, if she was doing drugs, she likely wasn't doing them alone, which means the others around her were not making exceptionally sound judgement calls themselves (especially if they were all taking hard drugs/drinking to excess).

I would think that surely she'd walk up to one of the homes that are nearby and ask to use a phone. There are several that aren't far at all. It's rural, and the land is rugged in parts, but there are several homes in that stretch of road.

Edit: Then again, there's that "sound judgement" thing that we lose when we got fairly intoxicated.

Thanks for the pics! I was getting a 2014 view of the property so no white car which I was hoping to see. Would seem odd that that car was there in 2017 if it were a friends (if it's the same car). The lot is small but so much farmland around. The 3rd man drove a truck so it would make sense the towed car belongs to one of the men in the surveillance pics. LE must have shown the judge probable cause in order to confiscate the car so they must suspect something. If it's the son's.....
Generally speaking it's not hard to find anyones criminal history if they have one. Complete with mug shots.
PS: any hints on how to maneuver the online court records beyond generalities? Doesn't make sense since it is public record unless that court is one that makes you pay. HELP

Per the article I linked about a page back it was the aunt. She said the police told them the man said it. No idea if it's true coming from the man but the aunt has been very involved and can't imagine her saying something she wasn't told. Unless it's misreporting from the news.

It definitely happens. Especially as laws are changing that can charge the person who supplied the drugs with murder. Not sure what the laws in Kentucky are.
ETA: this happened in my area recently. The situation was actually very tragic. But based on our state laws the defendant was only charged with a misdemeanor abuse of a corpse. The bruises showed he had try to revive the woman but he did panic and leave her in a parked car in a parking lot.

I agree. But if drugs were involved the person who should have called 911 could be an addict who wouldn't do what should be done. Especially if Kentucky is one of the states that will charge the person who supplied the drugs with murder. Haven't checked that out yet. Wrong in every way but happens.
