I watched the video and Josh Young did give conflicting answers. I have seen only 1 day of testimony and all of the post.

So right now I think I will sit on the fence until more convicting evidence comes in. I will say I think they could dress him his age, I believe sweater vest are out. Maybe just a plain shirt and tie.

They may not have a case against him, no. I don't know yet.

But WOW on this interview. Now I'm only at 16 minutes, but it's clear that he's not intimidated at all by LE/the law, and he is adamant that his father is the greatest thing in the world.

He likes it Very much. I can't support a kid like this in the least. The amount of evidence will matter for whether he should be convicted or not, but morally I think the kid is just not OK at all. Unfortunately, he also seems very 'together' and smart, so I don't know that he could be changed. I was hoping I'd get a vibe that said he was also immature and intimidated or something. I don't get even a hint of that with JY.

This is exactly what I got out of the investigation: A very smart kid who absolutely worships his father and would probably do anything to please him. His father is a manipulating Bas.....d and I can easily see him talking this kid into doing something because he would not be in prison for very long and play up the part where if he did the deed he would be in prison for a very long time....and play up the kid's emotions by asking if he "wanted" to lose his father again to prison.

I don't really know, but my impression is, it was fairly quickly?

I started watching this trial yesterday and read a bit about the case prior to that.

My gut feeling is that Young was involved in the murder as the primary participant and Gouker is covering for him. Either that or the mom was somehow involved with Gouker. The timeline just doesn't work for Gouker to have gotten out of bed, after sleeping, to go murder Trey in the middle of the night behind the school.

I don't trust the mother because she lied to give Gouker an alibi at the beginning. Young lied about where he was and where he was sleeping that night, and Gouker has changed his story a number of times so there's no reason to believe his latest claim that he acted alone.

The state has a long way to go to prove its case, but that's just my gut feeling at this point. I don't think Josh Young is just an innocent victim of bad circumstances and lousy parenting.

Less than 24 hours. His body was found the next day during the school day.

Is Liberty High School off Indian Trial? I use to live in Louisville for 12 years. (J-town). I am trying to remember where Liberty High School. I know where Senecca is located. Fuzzy on where Fern Creek though I remember the high school.

Motive: Amanda was under investigation for neglect of her daughter Mckenzie. If Trey stayed 'to protect his sister' from abuse, he may have been murdered to shut him up, because he knew they were abusing his sister. Amanda said in her testimony that Trey would sometimes sleep on the floor in his sisters room. Gouker did not want to go back to prison and got Josh to help him get rid of Trey. Josh finally had his father back and didn't want to lose him again. Giving them both motive for murder.

Yes, A lives with her mother and father, Terry and Teri Zwicker, per Terry's testimony.

Yes they are discussing what info the defense witness the Dr can bring into testimony. The state just got some of this info about 5 minutes before court started.

No not the worst feed for me. The Levi Chavez feed from NM was the absolute worst I have seen before.

I think he was in for an armed robbery that time but he has a rap sheet as long as my arm has been arrested something, like 19 times I know he did 8 years and w released in the fall of 2010 and got custody of JY in April 2011, and Trey was killed 2 months later....very sad case.

From what I understand fouler complied with court ordered counseling and classes to get josh back. However I don't understand why a court would decide that would be enough. It's all such a mess.
