Interesting tidbit about the "tumultous" relationship with his ex and her new partner around custody issues of their child.

Hmmm...

I can’t say how thrilled I am that someone commented on this thread.

Yes, and the crazy thing is the ex and new boyfriends house, burned down the same week, as Tyler’s burnt truck was found.

What about all the coal mines that have been forgotten about?

In that area, there are just TOO MANY abandoned mines that have been condemned and aren’t safe to enter. With what happened to Tyler’s truck and then his daughters mom’s house both being burnt, I don’t know if you’d even find a body... and I hate to even say that.

Destroying evidence?

Destroying evidence?

Some have speculated that Tyler could have been placed under the trailer/mobile home before it was set ablaze. With the fire to the house, the resident left with a full diaper bag, phone and cold Mt Dew.

Also I’m not sure if it is known to many on WS, but Tyler’s exgirlfriend/daughter’s mother started dating a county deputy at the time as well. The new boyfriend also was arrested for stealing equipment from the department as well.

I'm surprised there haven't been arrests in this case, it seems rather obvious who would be involved..moo..his poor family, this has got to be beyond frustrating for them.

I’m right there with you. My heart breaks for everyone involved. Tyler’s sister has tried everything to keep Tyler’s name alive. I’m not sure what more could be done.

Also a member of the Facebook Group is looking for volunteers to help with searches now that some of the weather has cleared up enough to go out.

Last spring I was visiting Harlan I am from Georgia but my family is from Kentucky. While attempting to locate my family cemetery I came across a park ( that felt very creepy) as I stopped to look at my GPS I noticed a sign that said something to the effect of, "We will never stop searching for you Tyler" my heart felt so empty when I saw it. I just want you to know I have never met Tyler but think of him often and look at least once a month to see if he has been found. My heart goes out to his family and he is in my prayers.

Lovely, seems like a great group of folks. Tyler's facebook page- Tyler North

If it was suspected Tyler's body was burnt in that house fire. It's my thought dogs could be brought in, was that done? IMO, that would be far too obvious though. More likely as someone else suspected, covering up evidence if anything. But what a coinky-dink with the two fires? Can I get a hint on the baby mama's name please?

Details of Disappearance
North was last seen leaving his sister's house in Hyden, Kentucky at 8:15 p.m. on June 24, 2018. He was last seen driving south on Kentucky 421. His cellular phone last pinged from Mozelle, Kentucky, and this is the last indication of his whereabouts. He didn't show up for his shift at work the next day and has never been heard from again.

On July 1, North's vehicle, a dark gray 2003 Dodge Dakota with a push bar, fog lights and a chrome toolbox, was found abandoned and burned in a field off a strip mine road near Warbranch, Kentucky, just off Kentucky 1850. There was no indication of North's whereabouts.

According to his family, North wasn't involved with drugs, didn't have a high risk lifestyle and had a reputation as a hard worker who didn't cause trouble. The only problem in his life was his relationship with the mother of his daughter, and her new boyfriend. North fought with them over visitation and custody issues, but neither of them has been named as a suspect or person of interest in his case.

His disappearance remains unsolved.

Law enforcement was able to electronically and physically place Jeremy and Michelle at the last known location Tyler was seen. Both are being held on $100,000 cash bonds and as far as I know, neither will be able to get the funds. Neither have assets, nor do their families. Custody of the daughter Tyler had with LMCN, has been given to Tyler's family. The children that JL and LMCN have together, are being taken care of by JL's family.

Michelle had sent Tyler text messages to meet her at a park to have sex. It's at that point, law enforcement believe Jeremy ambushed him and killed him with Jeremy's service weapon.

We're are hoping and praying that Jeremy or Michelle let LE know where Tyler's body is located.
